We have stayed here many times. We love it; it is perfect for us. We snorkel, kayak, and watch the bay right out the front door; we hang out on the porch, hike to the Monument, and enjoy this amazing place. We like this historic house and neighborhood.

This location on the bay is beautiful. The house is old but with character and comfortable with everything you need to enjoy the bay. The on-site host was amazing with area tips, the occasional treat and a very welcoming and warm personality.

This is our second time staying at this location. Since our last stay there has been a beautiful remodel that added an additional large bathroom and enlarged one of the bedrooms, which was fantastic. This house is right on the bay and provides an amazing view that often includes the spinner dolphins activating across the bay. It also has a fantastic covered porch where we often had our meals. The house was well stocked and furnished. We also got to meet one of the owners, Dave, this trip and he was a great host.
The only real complaints I have is that during our stay the house next door was being rebuilt. The equipment was extremely loud and their exhaust drove us off the property multiple days, which was very disappointing (so just check to see if that is still going on),l. The other minor complaint is one section of the floor is really creeky and the downstairs neighbors complain we were loud when we were trying our best to be quiet (hopefully the next remodel will fix that). But, honestly this place is paradise and it would be a mistake to pass it up. Love it here.

I can’t say enough about this beautiful place. The bay is so calm and peaceful with wonderful snorkeling right out front. Easy kayak to the monument gets u to even more amazing reef snorkeling. The house is simple not fancy but very comfortable. Had everything we needed to make food and drinks. No need to go anywhere at night since the sunsets were so fabulous!

This setting is ideal for people wanting to access the water to snorkel or kayak. There is no parking at the house and you must park across the small road which can be challenging as there is a public access area at the end and parking can be competitive. The home was clean and very well maintained by the property manager. If head height is an issue the downstairs dwelling may not be for you. We saw whales and dolphins from the porch and a hefty 3-4 foot free swimming eel while snorkeling. Not a lot of schooling fish but a wide variety of Hawaiian reef fish. Overall a very pleasant ,relatively private (there is an upstairs unit and adjacent cottage), and it is a wonderful setting. I live on the island and would definitely bring more family back here.

We loved the place. It was a nice surprise to find the nice big deck or "lanai" that we had not seen in the pictures which is where we spent most of the time. Also the location is the best. Amma is a wonderful manager and we are in the process of deciding on a date for next year, hoping for the whole house
