Our condo and the town of Kihei was not affected by the devastating fire in Lahaina, Maui. Booking a vacation in the Kihei area is part of the solution to reviving the economy that is necessary for the rebirth of Lahaina. Since our condo was not affected, booking on Maui not only means a vacation in paradise, but doing a little part of good that is much needed to help Lahaina get back on its feet.
Kamaole Sands is located in South Kihei, and is one of the most popular condominium resorts on Maui. Our unit is the TOP 'A' rating by the property management company. Accommodations are spacious and comfortable, offering a one bedroom, two bath suite with fully-equipped kitchen and private extra large lanai or patio. It is on the ground floor in building 8, which is on the quiet side of the resort. As owners, we live on Maui and are available to you for any help or questions you may have. Kamaole Sands offers four complimentary tennis courts, large swimming pool, sundeck, two jet spas, and eight barbecue areas are on property.

The largest of three public-park beaches Kamaole III, lies just across the street from the resort. Like all beaches in South Maui, it is uncrowded. There's also good snorkeling among rocks and coral. To the delight of snorkeling and scuba-diving enthusiasts, the tiny island of Molokini, renowned for the clarity of its surrounding water, is not far offshore, and excursions are easy to arrange through the resort's activity desk.
Large and beautiful, Keawakapu Beach begins in front of the Mana Kai Resort a few minutes' drive from Kamaole Sands. Next to the Mana Kai is a public parking lot. Signs point the way to the beach, which offers great snorkeling along its rocky northern terminus, terrific boogie boarding when the trade winds blow, and long, tropical-fantasy walks. (Buildings along the beach seldom exceed palm-tree height, somewhat preserving the illusion the beachfront is undeveloped.)

Owners were very accommodating. Very generous with soaps, shampoo, conditioners, t paper, paper towels... most things you have to supply yourself. Well maintained condo n nicely decorated. Enjoyed our trip! Mahalo!

Great location by the beach; we really enjoyed the pool. We had a wonderful time riding our bikes every day around Maui. I highlight every evening was walking down to the park by the beach and watching the sunset with everyone.

We really enjoyed our time at Kamaole Sands and proximity to beach was so convenient for morning swims, snorkelling and relaxing with a book. Sri brought us some beach chairs to use which was very helpful. A/C and ceiling fans worked well but we would often just open front and back doors for a great cross breeze. Used pool and hot tub only twice as preferred swimming in the ocean. Ensuite tub/shower seemed to be clogged but we just used the shower in 2nd bathroom which was fine. Appreciated having washer/dryer and kitchen had everything we needed. We will hopefully be able to come back soon! Great hosts!

Location of the property can’t be beat.
Large unit. We’ll stocked with beach towels. Comfy bed and couch. Would definitely stay here again.

Although the condo unit was located at one of the best condo resorts in Kihei, this was a ground floor unit tucked in the corner of the property with no view except the tropical vegetation and road access of the neighbouring resort. The condo is dated and needs some renovations to bring it to the same standards as other units in the resort if it continues to demand the same or higher rental fees.

Owners are kind and replaced the broken fridge within a week , but their condo was dirty and rundown, warm water for 1 shower ,pull out bed is broken ,you cannot use the pull out bed at all ,they should not be advertising it , the bed room is really hot , bath tub has mold and takes a long time to drain , the other short also has mold ,I was reading their reviews only to find out it’s been run down , dirty and broken since 2019
This condo is priced way to high and I would highly recommend they Renovate ! or at the very least hire a professional cleaner to do a deep cleaning , this condo is not worth .
