Relax and repose in your own private paradise at the end of the Albert Road cul de sac with a beautiful niche to an expansive ocean valley view of the blue Pacific Ocean disappearing over the vast horizon before you. Watch whales splash as swells roll in and occasional sailboats pass in the distance. The valley below is lush with tropical vegetation and flowers.
On the upper floor, the Great Room, Kitchen and Master Suite open to the wide rear lanai tempting you to lounge and gaze out to deep blue ocean views and reflect 'who cares....I am indulging in a little serene sanity for the moment.....the world can await my return...?’
Lower floor bedrooms offer ocean views from each bed, each enjoy their own lanais. A fourth bonus room serves as a backup bedroom with an ocean view and two twin beds. Guests have repeatedly found it great as a backup bedroom for the kids or guests wanting an extra room to sleep in.
Sleeping areas offer privacy, while the open Lanais and Great Room offer comfortable, relaxed space to gather and 'talk story'. The large private lanais make for yoga and lounging in paradise.
After many years as a vacation rental, the entire property just finished an extensive renovation as of June 2023. All the doors & windows were upgraded to awnings & sliding glass doors. Lower floor was retiled. Lanai's were re-decked with Ipe & stainless steel railings. Repainted inside & outside. Professional photos have yet to be taken due to the tight schedule between renovation & the 1st guests to arrive after 9 months of renovation. Upon departure guests texted: "We've had a great time at the house again this year (the place is looking fantastic)."
The cleaning team keeps it exceptionally clean and comfortable, with a casual slant to minimalist feel to welcome guests to enjoy amazing ocean views and lush greenery in every window. Guests repeatedly text us upon arrival...'the Villa exceeded our expectations'.
The kitchen has extensive countertops, gas cook top, blender, fresh juice juicer, citrus juicer, and many utensils for the serious cook. A gas BBQ is on the upper lanai, just off the Great Room, along with a 2nd casual outdoor dining table. The food pantry typically stocks an assortment of condiments and essentials. You only need to stop at Costco near the airport to stock food.
There is WiFi thru out the Villa and a large 70" LCD TV in the Great Room.
Essential beach gear is neatly organized in the garage, including beach chairs, a sunbrella for shade, coolers, snorkeling gear, boogie boards, children’s beach toys etc.
Mid-stay cleaning required for 10 day stays or longer.
All the essentials are provided for a relaxing stay and outdoor gear to enjoy the tropical paradise. We are here to spoil you with an abundance of Aloha....

The house was fantastic, it was clean and the view is incredible. While the three main bedrooms were great, there are beds in the laundry room area that didn’t make much sense. Fortunately we didn’t have enough people in our party to require the use of those beds. Overall we had an incredible time and look forward to visiting again.

We had an amazing stay. We were 4 adults and a toddler and the layout worked perfectly. There were ocean views from every room, the kitchen was well equipped, and the patio offered a lovely place to sip coffee in the morning or grill in the evening. You’re too far away from the ocean to hear it, but the unobstructed views made up for it. Andrew, the host, was very communicative and responded to questions right away. Would recommend!

This house was exactly what we needed for our family’s trip to Kauai! It was beautiful, yet homey and comfortable. We all fell in love with it minutes after arrival. It’s a perfect location for a north shore home base. As if on cue, on our first morning we were treated to a view of whales jumping and spouting out the living room widow! All the amenities provided were excellent, most even better than described. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of place settings and preparation equipment. Snorkel gear, boogie boards, beach towels, beach umbrellas were all provided.
A previous reviewer mentioned walking to the beach from the house. While this is possible, it’s not a short or direct walk. That said, there are many, many incredible beaches that are just a few minutes drive away. One of the downstairs beds was deemed ‘uncomfortably firm’, by a couple of us, but the rest were perfectly comfortable. Overall, this house provided an exceptional, memorable base for our trip. 5-stars. We have no hesitation to stay there again.

This was a very nice property that my family enjoyed. The pictures on the website need to be updated. The floors in the basement bedrooms were wood and painted. The toilet in the basement was very low and was hard to get up and down, The beds also in the basement were not comfortable at all. We really enjoyed the openness of the upstairs with the view and the big table we played cards on. There were lots of beach accessories in the garage. Not a lot of places to eat in Princeville and the grocery store is horrible no working coolers l would suggest stopping at Walmart or Safeway also buy lots of ice the ice maker does not work on the fridge. Each morning we had coffee while watching the Humpback Whales spout, in the Whale Reserve outside the front window. The main living floor, the second floor is amazing, all freshly updated with views for miles. The kitchen is outfitted with the serious cook in mind. There is ample dining spade for the full group, and the TV/family room are very comfortable. Our favorite place to spend time was the upper deck. The master bedroom is newly outfitted with a massive bathroom, and there are numerous skylights providing natural sunlight.
The ground level has three bedrooms and a full bath. Two of the bedrooms are very nice for adult couples, but not nearly at the same finish level as the master (i.e. if visiting with three couples, the couple in the master should pay more than the other couples). The fourth bedroom is simple, but perfect for small kids. The house sits on what feels like an acre, butting up to a natural preserve. We walked to nearby Sealodge Beach most mornings.
Earlier reviews had mentioned construction and rough bedding sheets. We did not have issues with either. The house was not under construction during our stay, and the sheets were great.

Ocean Valley Villa is a lovely home overall. The views are spectacular. Loved the open air shutters that allowed the warm breeze to flow through the house. Very private and quiet.

They had three remotes for the TV. No instructions on how to use them. Suggestion, get a universal remote. Thanksgiving day had to call management over because none of us could figure out which remote did what. Wanted to watch the NFL games. After 30 mins trying he finally had to call someone. That shows it was not easy to figure out. After many attempts they finally got it to work. Made a few condescending remarks. Then left. Also tv in bedroom did not work at all. No apology there.

Our stay at Ocean Valley Villa was a slice of heaven. Beautiful ocean view. Plenty of ceiling fans to help cool the house when trade winds were not enough. Andrew was available to answer questions and attend to any issues that arose. Always quick to respond. The house is currently going through some remodeling which has been hindered by Covid issues. We had painted sub-flooring in the two downstairs bedrooms and part of the downstairs lanai had been removed for remodeling. None of these issues deterred us from enjoying our stay thoroughly. Plenty of space and well laid out rooms. Unless our group increases in size, we will be back.
