NA PAINA is a spacious 2-story cedar house nestled in ironwood trees right on the sandy beach at Anahola Bay. This classic beach house has two decks and spectacular ocean views. Anahola is a secluded bay, located in a small residential community and has a sand-bottom (not coral) beach suited for swimming and surfing. Tide pools and snorkeling areas are located at each end of the bay, a short walk down the beach. If you are looking for a resort experience, this is not it! The house is perfect for family gatherings or small groups and sleeps up to ten people. It is within easy driving distance of restaurants, golf, and shopping.
This property is located in a tsunami evacuation zone. See tsunami evacuation information attached to your rental agreement.

The house was perfect for our family. All of the child and baby amenities were very helpful. Plenty of space and having a bedroom for each bathroom was perfect. Beautiful scenery from the deck. There are people who drive on the beach with loud exhaust but they were careful to drive around us and they were quiet once the sun went down. There was a problem with screen doors but Annie was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

Loved the location. A more private beach to enjoy. House is great for big families plus. Plenty of amenities to use while your there. We were in need of only beach chairs in which we ended up renting. There is some small maintenance that needs to be done but didn't affect our stay. Plenty of extra fans for when the winds aren't blowing. Towels galore. Thank you for the use of your home. Hope to be back.

This house is a home! It is well stocked in every area for a family of 9. Beautiful views!
Only draw back is it's very close to a local beach access and campground. That made for a lot of vehicles and people.

There were 9 of us that stayed at this great place on Anahola Beach from Nov.26 to Dec7. Plenty of room for everyone. Had a few questions before we arrived and Annie and Steve were quick to response and very helpful. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook for all of us. If you are looking for a place on the beach for a group of 10, this is an awesome place with great hosts. Thank you again for opening your place to us, we all had a great vacation there.

We had an amazing stay at this house. The house was right on a great beach, 2nd story view from the deck was incredible, beach supplies were more than we expected as well as the rest of the house was well equipped. The entire family absolutely loved the house and if we return to Kauai with a large group again we will definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful vacation in Kauai.

We had a wonderful time at this property. The house was great, and the porch was wonderful to spend time on. The locals we encountered on the beach were friendly and gave us helpful tips about weather conditions. Thanks for letting us stay!

We had such an amazing time during our stay. The house was stocked with everything you can think of. Our kids loved all the boogie boards and snorkel gear. The morning sunrise was breathtaking from the deck. Location was great for traveling to all different parts of the island. We would definitely come back!

We had a full house and we were the gathering house for other family members that stayed at other rentals/ hotels on the island. The home owners were very responsive and easy to get ahold of and the check in process was super easy. The house was a perfect location and had amazing access to a sand bottom beach. The young kids (3 years-5 years) were afraid of the bigger waves but my 10-14 year old nieces loved boogie boarding and body surfing. I was a little concerned after reading the reviews about a homeless camp but I didn’t even notice them until I walked all the way to the end of the bay. The neighboring camp ground did light off a few fireworks one night but otherwise were quiet and friendly on the beach. The beach was typically empty and felt private. The loft area ended up being too difficult to get up and down for one of us, so they utilized the extra bedding and slept in the futon. The house has all the dishes and supplies we needed. If you are traveling with babies/toddlers, we noticed they have baby gates and some baby gear as well. There was a ton of beach gear, snorkels, etc. that we used often. There was an element of sadness to our vacation due to the fires in Maui but overall, we all had an amazing time. Overall, the house was perfect for our big family and I’d highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location is wonderful and the home is well stocked. Perfect for large families or multiple families. Listening to the waves in the morning and evening were the best!
