Welcome to our Kona Beach Home at Hale Kai O’Kona! A Spectacular ocean front home located on the incredible Western shores of the beautiful Big Island. Our vacation home has been completely remodeled from top to bottom. It is close to everything (town, shops, beach, boogie boarding, surfing, snorkeling, harbor, activities) yet private for your relaxing stay at your beach home-away-from-home.
Our home has 2 levels, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Modern coastal decor is noted throughout the house with custom flooring, high end finishes, flat screen TVs, and custom live edge wood bar. The entire home has central air conditioning as well as ceiling fans throughout the home for added comfort.
Hale Kai O’Kona is located on the ocean side of the famous Ali'i Drive. Our home is so close to the ocean, you can toss a shell from the lanai and hit water. We have two three-sided lanais that offer incredible views of the ocean.The fourth side of the lanais are all glass sliding doors so that you can also enjoy the same ocean view from the inside! There are dolphins and many other sea creatures that pass by daily. We have a special little known beach just a few hundred feet away that honu (turtles) visit through out the day. You will enjoy spectacular sunsets every night year round. During the peak season, whales swim and often breach right in front of the condo which is fun to watch from the lanais. You will also see dolphins year round.
Close by is a small private cove with a sandy beach that is kid friendly, shallow and protected. Turtles live there and they are very friendly and love to come swim up to you!! They are protected so please do not touch!
One of the most incredible snorkeling spots on the Big Island is about a mile or so away with easy access for all ages and snorkeling levels. It is actually known throughout the world for one of the best snorkeling and diving spots that can be found.
Our condo is located close to everything you need: 10 minutes to downtown Kailua-Kona shops and restaurants, snorkeling, surfing, diving, boating, tons of water fun activities, golf, sandy beaches...you name it! Kona International Airport (KOA) is 20 minutes away.
Enjoy exploring any part of the Big Island and still be able to go home afterwards to the place where the Ancient Royals knew where to go to truly vacation. There is a reason they chose Kona. There is a reason we chose our home. Both are magical and unique locations that are difficult to find. We love our guests to share what we have found too! Great times with family and friends in a wonderful place creating special memories that last a lifetime.
*** Please note that we do require a 3 NIGHT MINIMUM STAY. Single night stays are not allowed. Two night stays maybe accepted at higher rates. Holidays, high season , and Ironman rates will be higher than our regular nightly rate.***

The views are amazing - love the privacy of the master as well as enjoying the openness of the first floor to the lanai. The kitchen had many gadgets that I would not expect to find which was a nice surprise. While not guaranteed, the assortment of snorkeling and beach gear was impressive. So many activities in close proximity as well as longer drives. Enass answered all of my questions quickly. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Big Island in this beautiful home, wish we could have stayed longer!

The view from and location of this property are unbeatable. Truly made for an amazing and relaxing time in paradise. It’s so good, when we were elsewhere on the island, we wished we were there.

Well stocked in everything we would want, need, or need to know! Excellent location! Saw whales every morning whether we fixed it ourselves at the condo or went the short distance to downtown area. Sat on lanai every morning until everybody was ready for the day and again to watch the sun set in evenings and played games.

Our family of eight had a great week both as residents of the property and as visitors to the Big Island. The ocean front home offers wonderful views from two large lanais and ready access to a rocky beach that our grandchildren enjoyed exploring.
The house is well equipped and well maintained.
Parking is a sensitive issue but we were easily able to find parking for our second vehicle on the roadside nearby.

A beautiful home in quiet location close to restaurants and shopping. It easily slept 8 of us comfortably. We spent most mornings and evenings sitting on the lanai watching waves crash on the rocks.

What a wonderful vacation we had and would definitely stay here again. We had an issue at check-in where there was mix-up with dates for cleaning people. I reached out to Enass and she took care of the issue immediately. There are always potential problems but how people respond and fix them is extremely important and I was very impressed. We are so glad that we booked this home! The views are absolutely beautiful! Enass is quick in respond as well. This home really did enhance our Hawaii trip. We were busy bodys and we were out a lot exploring the island. We wish we would have had more time to enjoy the home itself. Hopefully next time 😉
