The house was beautiful and peaceful it gave us time to explore the area. Would have liked to stay longer. We didnt have much time to enjoy the hot tub and hammock.

My two granddaughters and I loved our stay in this little home in Hana. They especially enjoyed the hot tub, even when it was raining. Teensy ants emerged when I left the banana bread out on the counter, but I didn’t see any when things were wrapped up. I don’t think my granddaughters had ever experienced such dark quiet nights. Pretty awesome.

Staying at this home was one of the highlights of our trip to 3 Hawaiian islands. This home is just stunning! It is private and quiet, yet close to all the fun things to do around Hana. I am so glad that we decided to stay a few nights and really take our time on the magnificent east side of Maui. We spent every evening relaxing in the hot tub and then got up each morning to watch the sunrise from the hot tub as well before going out to hike and explore. Sunrise was simply breathtaking and is something we will never forget! I would give 10 stars if I could! Book this place…You won’t be disappointed! Mahalo for a wonderful stay!!

Our family loved this property! Beautiful, unique, comfortable home that felt very private. Stunning view of the ocean, mountains, and forest. The home was well stocked with the basics, complete with inflatable mattress, cot, and linens (for the littles). The geckos were adorable and liked to hang out in the kitchen (you may hear them “clicking” at night). We spent mornings and evenings on the covered porch and honestly, we would return just to spend a couple of days relaxing on the porch and property. This is a nice change of pace from the crowds found elsewhere on the island and is a great option if you are seeking peace and quiet. The owner provided ample info prior to arrival which was very helpful. Make sure to stock up on food, beverages, etc before leaving Kahului. Food options are limited (though delicious) and close up early. Don’t miss the lava tubes and Kahanu Garden. Be respectful and mindful of the locals and adhere to the Road to Hana Code of Conduct.

Need to unwind and enjoy the islands natural beauty as you listen to the birds while drinking coffee on the porch with a vast view of the ocean or watching the cows and pigs on the mountain side this could be your oasis. The house is very comfortable and the hot tub will easy your aches and pains. If possible we will return.

This property fully exceeded our expectations. The photos on the listing were beautiful, but didn't fully depict the perfection of the location with both beautiful ocean views and, in the other direction, volcano views. The property was very private, like our own oasis. The house is very roomy with everything that you need to be comfortable. In the master bedroom, there is perfect cross ventilation which provided a great breeze. There is strong skylink internet that was as good as any we've had and also a large smart tv. The wrap around deck was a great place to sit and watch the sunrise over the ocean in the morning. Cows roamed neighboring fields and added to the ambiance of this wonderful place. The hot tub was clean and warm and definitely an added bonus. Check in was easy. We enjoyed staying here as much as we enjoyed the beauty of the Hana highway and entire area.

Stayed here on the tail end of our trip to Maui. The property is very private and views from both front and back are stunning. It was great to be right on the road to Hana, just a few miles from Hana proper. Close to Wai’anapanapa black sand beach, lava tubes, and the Pi’ilanihale Heiau, not to mention Coconut Glen’s. Coming from a week spent on the very hot and dry south side of the island, this was more of the tropical setting one thinks of when imagining Hawaii. Cooler, greener, and very nice to stay for a day or two after traveling the road.
Home has a lovely vibe and is architecturally interesting. Hot tub was spectacular, especially at night under the stars. Enjoyed the hammock and relaxing on the wrap-around porch. The house catches the breeze nicely in the evening, which is essential without A/C - we stayed plenty cool, even in August. Comfy beds, ample kitchen space, and even a roll away cot and fold out couch. Would stay here again!

Unfortunately we had to leave this (otherwise pretty) house the same day we arrived because there were so many lizzards in it, including fairly sizeable ones (not just the tiny ones). It was not just a few--the walls literally looked like they were moving if you looked at them longer than a couple of seconds.

This property is fantastic and beautiful! There are gorgeous views of the ocean and the mountains. The hot tub was clean and so nice to sit in after a long day exploring. This place was great for 4 adults.

This property is wonderful. Amazing views, comfortable, relaxing. The outdoor shower is facing green lush mountains. It’s amazing property to come and relax and it’s within 15 mins to the main attractions of what Hana road has to offer.

The property was amazing! The layout of the house was nice and spacious with a porch all the way around the front with a gorgeous view of some trees and the ocean and then around back you had the mountains! Being that close to Hana and all it’s gems was great!

We wanted to be far from the crowds at the resorts so this home was perfect! Make sure you have plenty of daylight when arriving to drive the road to Hana and to find the home and open the gate. Cell phone coverage is spotty in the area and non-existent in places. The home has great Wi-Fi but we could not make any calls and sometimes texts didn’t go through either. The home was well stocked with everything we needed and the owner was friendly and quick to respond to our needs. We enjoyed the peaceful, beautiful view from the wrap around porch. There are are some cows on the property that our kids enjoyed seeing each time we pulled up to the house. We kept the windows open to allow good air flow, so be prepared for bugs and nature. If you are looking for a quiet, remote retreat away from the crowds then this is the place. We really enjoyed our stay!

Comfortable and tranquil home base for our family of four. Fully stocked kitchen, great water pressure, fast internet and a lovely deck and hot tub with ocean views. The host was responsive, and the check-in instructions were clear. Extremely pleased with our stay and hope to visit again!
