The Iolani Guest cottage is fabulous for a Maui Honeymoon, quiet escape, or anybody that would enjoy a quiet Maui vacation rental cottage.
The property occupies a large two acre parcel of land, in the lowest section of Haiku (out of the rain band) and just a couple of minutes from Hookipa Beach. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with hundreds of trees and plants. A clay tennis court is available for guest use.
The cottage sits to the side of the property, with its own garden and lawn. It has a wonderful, tropical garden view, and looks into the edge of the gulch. The cottage has coral rock exterior walls and a patio with teak outdoor dining furniture, gas grill and sun loungers. The interior has a custom kitchen (granite counters, top quality appliances including a sub-zero fridge), living area which opens to the deck, two bedrooms (each with king bed), and a custom, tiled bathroom. Other amenities include telephone, TV, DVD, stereo, laundry, WiFi. This is the perfect cottage for guests wanting a reasonable price, but an upscale interior. One of the best features - a unique, coral rock outdoor shower, fabulous to rinse off when you come home from the beach covered in sand.

This property has a vacation rental permit issued by the County of Maui, and is subject to the rules and restrictions imposed by the County for all short term rental homes. Please understand that we would be unable to accept a rental that does not agree to abide by these rules. Note: properties without a short term rental permit are subject to closure by the County.
1. Neighbors - Please be considerate of our neighbors. Noise carries easily to their homes, particularly in the evening. NO loud music, NO parties, NO amplified sound of any nature at any time. Many neighbors must be up early in the morning to go to work, and it's important that your use of this property does not impact them in any way.
2. Quiet Hours - Quiet time is from 9pm to 8am.
3. Use of the Property - Additional friends/family CANNOT be invited to the property and it cannot be used as a “meeting place”. The property can be used ONLY by the guests listed on the rental agreement. The County law allows us to accommodate a maximum of two guests x the number of bedrooms.
4. Parking - There is plenty of parking on the property. Vehicles CANNOT be parked on the street at any time. When vehicles are on the street, there is insufficient space for emergency vehicles, fire trucks, the trash truck or neighbors to get down the road.
5. Minimum of 1 guest must meet the minimum age requirement of 25.

We had a wonderful stay for our family of four. The cottage had everything we could need and the location was central to all the various activities on the island. There were beaches and restaurants within a 10 min drive. The interaction with the management company was easy and they provided a lot of useful information.

Iolani Cottage was perfect! It was so secluded and peaceful. The property is at the end of a dead end road, so there was no traffic. Although there are three homes on the property, we didn’t see or hear anyone while we were there.
The cottage was just as pictured. It was so nice to sit out on the porch in the mornings and evenings. We are already looking forward to coming back again!

Our family of four enjoyed the stay at this well-equipped cottage. The home is in a quiet neighborhood away from hotel/resort scene yet close to restaurants and shops in Paia and Haiku. Great beaches are just minutes away. The outdoor shower was a family favorite.

We loved our little cottage. The location is the best. The property is top notch. We had an issue with the coffee maker and management had a brand new one on our doorstop that same day. Would recommend this place to all our friends.

We were lucky be lulled by a few nights of rain accompanied by the sweet songs of the birds and singing night creatures in the gulch. Really sweet little spot for a north shore stay. We were very grateful to be there, thank you for having us.

We had the best time during our 2 week plus stay at this property. It was a quiet little sanctuary to come home to after being at the beach or exploring the island all day. The property had everything we needed, plus some, and the manager was very responsive as well. It is a little further away from some areas but that is what we wanted(to not feel like tourists!). The only bad part was having to leave:(

We stayed for our wedding with a couple of our closest friends. The property is secure, safe and beautiful! The cottage has no AC but has fans which was nice. The outdoor shower is great we used it daily to rinse off. The bathroom shower drained very slow so we used the outdoor shower mostly! It’s super private. The entire check in and out process was easy. This property is further away from
Most things so a rental car was a must: we mostly left the property for the days and spent the evenings there. We would stay again!

We absolutely loved this cottage! It’s located just a few minutes from the beach and downtown Paia, but it’s so peaceful and quiet that you’ll feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere! We loved everything about this house! It was the perfect size for our family, has tons of outdoor space, comfy beds, and the amenities you want/need on a long Hawaii vacation. Also loved the outdoor shower and spacious lanai. Be back soon!!!
