First I would like to start by saying this was the first time I had rented through Vbro and I made some assumptions, my mistake, based on the pictures I saw with the listing. Some proved to be true and others were not so much. That being said, we still had a nice time, but I was disappointed that I did not clarify a few things before I committed to the rental.
The biggest assumption that I made was that the condo was in the building that is in the pictures and that it was right next to the pool. The reality is the exterior building picture is of the community club house that IS close to the pictured pool...but these are located almost 1/2 a mile away from the condo. Not what I was expecting and I was disappointed, I really wish I would have asked.
On the very positive side, Hallie the property manager is EXCELLENT and provided great customer service. We experienced a couple of minor issues that she quickly and professionally addressed so that they did not impact our time.
So, while we enjoyed our time, my advice to all is to make sure to reach out to Hallie with ANY questions you may have about the property. Make sure it checks the important boxes for your desired experience to avoid disappointments.

We had a great time at this beautiful VRBO. Hallie was very responsive. Nice, quiet accommodations. Wonderful to hear the waves all day and night. This is our 5th time staying in

We had two cars for the 6 of us. One car had to be parked outside the complex. We got reported by security for having two cars jn the complex and I think it was when we were dropping off groceries and or luggage. We didn’t want to carry them 6 blocks in so drove
2nd car in for drop off only. Security knows everything that is going on which is good but felt weird too.
I would definitely recommend this VRBO. FYI-read fine print, they do have spiral staircase that could be difficult for elderly and/or handicap.

We stayed here for the week of Thanksgiving 2022. The temperature inside the house was 86 degrees upon arrival. We adjusted AC but it would go no lower than 75. It was very hot on the bedroom level because the sun hits that side in late afternoon. (Downstairs level was always warm but bearable.) We immediately asked for help and was told the owner had it locked at 75 degrees and would not budge. We asked for ONE degree lower and they denied. Very disappointed. There are fans in the bedrooms but they are somewhat noisy. Then, to make matters worse, we were charged $130 EXTRA for electricity usage and we were hardly ever there, and never cooked a dinner there. Also, very poor communication from prop manager prior to arrival. We do not recommend this property.

Location, location. We were right on the beach side hearing the waves and just felt so peaceful every day and night. The early mornings were beautiful. Being able to see so many stars way before the sun came up. Beautiful home and lots of room if you want more guests. The narrow spiral staircase was a bit nerving but other wise a perfect stay. Great place to enjoy, relax, and never want to leave. We felt safe there too. Hallie the property manger was so nice and helpful.

Our family had a great stay. Very nice home with beautiful views. Even though it was part of the contract, the added charges for air was disappointing. As we expected, the Puamana area is a great place to vacation on Maui. Beautiful home.

This unit exceeded all expectations. Location, Location, Location! If you are looking for a quiet, gated community with stunning views and stocked with everything you could imagine, this is the place for you. Our family of 5 had more than enough room, there was actually an extra room upstairs that we were not expecting. The spiral staircase is a bit tricky, but the views and space are worth it. There are beach chairs, boogie boards and water shoes available for use. The kitchen had everything you will ever need and being able to take morning walks to town was incredible. We enjoyed the quietness of the community and highly recommend this place! The only thing I would differently is book an extra week in this paradise. Thank you!

We enjoyed our one week stay at Puamana. Hallie, the house manager was fantastic and helped us with any questions we had. The house is just steps from the beach and we enjoyed body surfing and watching the sunsets on the patio. Looking forward to coming back to Maui and staying here again. I particularly enjoyed having a fan in each room especially because I can’t sleep if a fan isn’t on!

The property was beautifully located just feet from the ocean. The unit served us perfectly for our family of 5. We spent all of our time on the balcony in the morning and lanai and grass the rest of the time. There were great supplies of boogie boards and chairs to use. We will return😃

This is a great property right on the water facing in a really nice gated community. The condo has four bedrooms and three and a half baths, with plenty of room in the kitchen/living room.
They had lawn chairs, and boogie boards available for use as well.
Highly recommend and looking forward to a return vist!

Loved waking up in this amazing, well appointed condo. Hallie, the property manager was spectacular, so nice, thoughtful and a great resource. Owners were great, very responsive. Not sure what has happened in the past here but found some of the rules a little over the top, no Marko polo in the pool ( legit permanent sign up at poolside) and lock your vehicle without it beeping. Our in laws were also on vacation in Maui, but had a place on front street. They spent some of the days with us at the condo. As neighbors walked by we got the stink eye as they counted us. Nice to have people aware of the property but felt weird to be defensive knowing 4 people left every evening.
Enjoyed watching the kid’s surfing right out front. Swimming was great but careful of the rocks. Water shoes were a must.

We truly all four of us enjoyed having our own rooms. Everything you needed is in this condo. Great location very close to downtown Lahaina. Great food shopping boating excursions. Highly recommend this spot for your next trip to Hawaii.

This is our third stay at Puamana complex. The views and the property are outstanding. The condo we rented was very well equipped and very nice. We highly recommend anyone wanting to relax and enjoy being close to Lahaina to stay at Puamana and rent until 240-4.

This spot was perfectly in the water as described. We woke up each morning with amazing views and a beach right there. Great location, super close to downtown. We had a blast and would absolutely book again!
