The Hawai’i Tourism Authority has announced that while travel to other parts of the island, including Kahului, Wailuku, Kihei, Wailea and Makena, is allowed, West Maui will not be open to tourists at least through the end of August. These areas that are closed to visitors include Lahaina, Napili, Kaʻanapali and Kapalua.
I understand that the media has been flooding the news with the devastation that has happened in Lahaina and also the loss of 19 homes in Kula, but we also have the remainder of the island that is accessible. I personally have family members that have lost everything from the Lahaina fire, and one member whom was close to being evacuated in Kula. This has been a huge loss for many residents on Maui.
Residents have banded together to send unprecedented amounts of donations needed for the West side folks.
We are Hawaii. We are strong. We are Aloha. We will heal Maui.
So many local residents, such as myself, earn our living through tourism. All of our small businesses will suffer without patronage from our visitors. I'm so grateful for all of my past and future guests that have reached out to me asking about my family. Thank you so much for all of your kind words, love, and support in these times.

"Kihei Oasis vacation rental" is a legally permitted vacation rental home located in Kihei, Maui! Permit #STKM 20130014. The home is the only structure on a 1/2 acre of manicured tropical landscaped property. When you rent this property, you and your guests will be in your own private fenced hotel style Oasis. The home accommodates 6 guests. Please send any questions regarding guest count to me for a quick reply.

The master bedroom suite is located on the North side of the home with an attached bathroom and walk in closet. The master bathroom has a walk in glass shower. Bath towels are supplied for guest use. The bed is a California king size Tempur-pedic mattress. All bedding has 400 thread count or higher sheets and high end colorful cotton quilts and blankets. The furniture through out the bedroom and entire home is teak, sea-grass, and bamboo, giving the home the plantation island style setting. The french doors of the master suite, open to the back lanai, which is around 1000 sq ft. which opens to the lavish Oasis garden with over 80 palms, orchids, ferns, succulents, fruit trees, tropical plants, and an organic herb garden available for guest use.
The custom 40,000 gallon, 800 sq ft saline pool beckons you in with the 10 ft tiled attached saline spa to relax your muscles after a long day of exploring the island. The pool is heated to 82 degrees by an electric heat pump in cooler months, and can be requested warmer with an additional security deposit. There is a custom 14 ft. gazebo that sits between the pool and spa for guests to gather that comfortably seats five. A rinse off shower is next to the gazebo for rinsing before and after pool use. We are very happy we found this place, it was perfect for our family, plenty of toys for our kids, good location for home base for island exploring.
The pool and spa are amazing, we all used it every day.

This was a vacation for the record books! It was exactly what we were looking for. Amy was an amazing host and the property was even better and more beautiful than expected! She was able to meet us at the property when we arrived to provide us with a walkthrough of the amazing property and all of the house features. This was above and beyond what I was expecting. Amy provided us with some tips on places to eat, activities to do, and was available at anytime if we had questions.
We couldn't get the kids out of the pool! As soon as we got back from some adventure on the island the kids were immediately swimming and having a great time. The extra amenities were so useful. Whatever we needed was already there. Pool toys, floaties, games, entertainment, tools, etc...was already there and available to for us to use. These are some of the extras that come from owners that really care about their guests experience.
It was for sure one of the best vacations that all of us will remember for a lifetime!

If you want to stay in a magical place in Maui, Kihei Oasis is the spot. This was my sister's first trip to Hawaii, and I wanted it to be remarkable. When we first arrived, Amy greeted us and showed us around. I thought this place couldn't be as lovely as the pictures, but was I wrong! The gorgeous backyard with the pool, spa, and over 50 palm trees made you feel like you were on your private luxury island. Amy ensured we had everything we needed and was always available for any questions or concerns. The kitchen was fantastic and we had many meals on the lanai, watching the sunsets. If you want a magical experience on your vacation, book some time at the Kihei Oasis. I can't wait to go back!

We stayed at Kihei Oasis for 3 fabulous weeks and wish we could have stayed longer. I can’t say enough about this beautiful backyard, the pictures just don’t do it justice. The house itself is a bit worn and could do with some updating but is well kept and was immaculately clean when we arrived. I have never been to a more well stocked rental, Amy has thought of everything. The kitchen had every appliance you could possibly need and best of all the pantry was stocked with all the basic, anytime I cooked I found all the spices, oils etc I needed. Not to have to plan ahead and make sure I bought everything I needed for a recipe was such a bonus especially on an island where groceries are so expensive. It wasn’t only the pantry that was stocked, the garage was stocked with anything you could possibly want for a day at the beach, to pack a picnic lunch, toys for the kids. This theme continued throughout the whole house, if you needed something chances are Amy had had it there for you. The location was absolutely perfect, we travelled the entire island and this was the perfect jumping off spot to do that, so many times I was great full for this location. We were also so close to so many amazing restaurants, stores, grocery stores and only 3 blocks from the beach! We spent our days enjoying the island and loved coming home to Kihei Oasis, we would definitely stay again, perfect location, so well stocked and the amazing backyard.

If you are looking for a Hawaiian Oasis - THIS IS IT! Truly the epitome of relaxation. The location is centralized for Maui adventures - 20-30 minutes from just about anything. The backyard is idyllic with swaying palms trees and luxurious pool and hot tub, with seating areas of choice. We looked forward to coming back “home” every day and enjoying music and the best setting ever. It isn’t right on the beach, but that works because it is so much calmer than the beachfront with so much activity. Having the doors open and the breeze coming through the house was incredible and very private. The size was perfect for our family of 5. The large outdoor spaces make this place 4 times as big. Amy was without a doubt the most considerate and thoughtful host we have ever had! She has thought of everything you can imagine. We love to cook and the kitchen was so well appointed. Amy had left us specialties from Maui like fruits, chocolates, nuts etc. We felt so well cared for and it was such a fun week. We were all sad to leave. We hope to be back and would recommend Amy’s house 100%!

Everything about staying at the Kihei Oasis was painless and so easy. Great property for kids. From first contact when booking, my emails inquiring information/recommendation and our stay were just perfect. The property is absolutely amazing, the trees & animals were a joy to observe and take in. The pool and spa are top notch. Amy has SO many amenities for the home and play (beach, pool) it was so very much appreciated. We will be back for sure, this property & manager are true gems, just an amazing time. We had a lovely stay at Kihei Oasis - a beautiful property, well looked after. Outdoor spaces lovely, allowing private areas for socializing. Home was perfect for 6 adults, and the home was the best supplied rental property I have been in. Everything we needed was there, and more. Amy was a great host.

This house was fantastic. It felt like a home away from home, with Amy being so personable and helpful. The pool and the hot tub were daily staples when we stayed. Such a relaxing place to come back to after the days adventures or beaches. It was hard to get a feel for the residential neighborhood, but we felt super safe the whole time; no other houses appeared to have the amazing amenities this one does! We were close to Kihei, Wailea, the North Shore (20 minutes), the crater and Upcountry (about a hour), West Maui was about 45-50 minutes depending. It was a great location and Amy gave us wonderful local recommendations. Could not recommend this place enough!

This property was absolutely stunning - we loved every aspect of it. Amy was an outstanding host. It's clear she is a professional, and has thought through the variables it takes to deliver a memorable experience.
We know you don't come to Maui to stay at your rental, but it was so nice to wake up and enjoy the pool as we plan our day, or to come back after a full day of adventuring and unwind in the hot tub.
The beds were comfortable, the indoor/outdoor music kept the island vibes going at all times, and the house was stocked with all the amenities we could have wanted (beach chairs, yard games, coolers, umbrellas, etc).
I would absolutely rent this property again, and I've already been recommending it to anyone who will listen. Amy is top notch, and the Kihei Oasis is a perfect way to enjoy Maui from a centrally located gorgeous home.

There are not enough superlatives to describe this property. A true home away from home that was fully stocked with every imaginable household, pool, and beach item you could ever need to enhance your stay on the island.
The pictures, as great as they are, still don't do this home justice. The backyard truly is an oasis, with a massive pool and spa that rival a resort to go along with hammocks and multiple seating areas to enjoy meals, morning coffee, or a relaxing read.
There was nothing better than venturing out around the island in the morning and early afternoon, and then returning back to the house to cook a great meal and enjoy the pool and spa into the evening.
Lastly, Amy was a tremendous host who was always available by phone or text to answer questions or assist in anything that came up. You will not regret booking this property and we hope to be back in the future.

Amy is the best host and was so attentive to our needs. The house feels like home and is well stocked with everything you will need and more. The backyard is the icing on the cake, you will not want to leave the pool, spa, hammock etc. I loved waking up early each morning and having my coffee in the gazebo listening to the sounds of the waterfall, birds, wind. Absolutely amazing!! Run don’t walk to Maui and this gem of a rental!!! I can’t wait to come back!

Our stay was wonderful and the pictures didn’t do justice to the backyard and pool. This is such an amazing place to have as a base for exploring or simply to stay there all day, in the pool and bbqing. Then you get Amy who is fantastic, welcoming and strives to have the essentials on the property so you can just enjoy. She also provided a good list of restaurants and other activities. She is who you hope to have as a host. We are already discussing how to get back.
