Our spacious, cozy paradise is just a 3 min. drive to Kailua beach and Kailua town. This cozy hide away has a cool prevailing ocean breeze and a quiet setting. In addition, this duplex is comfortably ventilated with a powerful whole house fan, ceiling fans and air conditioning for added comfort.
The duplex home is situated around a wonderfully landscaped wrap around yard measuring 5,000 + square feet. The property consists of a brand new 6' perimeter vinyl fence with sliding gate to provide guests with maximize security and safety. The 850 square feet living space consists of a: very spacious living room with a vaulted ceiling, 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath and a full kitchen with oven. All the areas come with ceiling fans and the home is indirectly ventilated with a whole house fan.
The master bedroom has a queen bed and the other bedroom has a full or double bed. The living room comes with a very comfortable, high quality and large sofa bed recliner. Hosts will furnish all beddings and linens.
The newly remodeled kitchen comes with a Corian countertop with cove backsplash. A new 20 cf Frigidaire refrigerator. The range is a glass cook type with oven.
Laundry machines are located outside and adjacent to the property and detergent and fabric softners are furnished by the hosts. There is covered parking for up to two vehicles with street parking as well. Guests have access to high speed wired and wireless Internet service.
We personally check-in our guests and go over a detailed and very helpful Welcome Package that discusses all the many things to see and do on Oahu. During reasonable hours the hosts are always available to help the guests with any issues or questions they may have.

This host was absolutely wonderful. Very attentive and caring. I’m elderly and even helped me with my laptop
This place has everything! all the amenities one would need for a long stay plus more. What I really enjoyed was the yard, BBQ, neighborhood and proximity to beaches and Kailua town.
Super clean, tidy. Host has plenty of cleaning supplies and two brand new washers and dryers in outside shed.
The home is very well ventilated with a whole house fan system constantly bringing in fresh ocean breeze and the ac in the bedroom was more than adequate.
All the furnishings are new including the dishwasher and the huge LCD TV Is a super plus.
Amazing and definitely intend to return here again to this beautiful duplex home

The side of the island where the flat is located is fantastic and the area itself if quiet but also very vibrant and full of restaurants/bars a couple of minutes away by car!
the house is perfect for up to 4
people and it has everything you need!
The hosts are so friendly and down to earth and the communication was brilliant.
i definitely recommend the place!
The only remark that I would say ( more like a suggestion) is having the master bedroom bed fixed as it was very noisy when moving.
Also it would be great to have a covered small shoe shed to avoid having the shoes wet in case of an overnight rain ;-)

Our family of four stayed at this comfortable 2 bedroom home. It was really wonderful, very spacious, very clean, and was very well equipped with everything we needed to start our vacation. Not only was the kitchen well equipped, coffee, condiments, laundry detergent, etc, but boogie boards, masks and snorkels, beach chairs, all there and ready to have a great time. Richard was an incredible host, after meeting us at the property, going trough a list of things to do, where the beach was, where to buy Poke etc, reached out a few times in a text message during the week to ensure that we were enjoying ourselves and that everything was alright. He even arranged to have our laundry done as the belt broke in the dryer. The location was good, in a very quiet neighborhood, with a 5 minute drive to the beach and easy access to groceries, several restaurants, etc. It was a pleasure to stay, and we would definitely stay again if returning to Oahu.

The home was clean with many amenities not found at other locations. We love this side of the island, the weather, the activities and central location give you so many options on your trip. While not beach front the owners provide snorkel gear, boogie boards, beach mats and all kinds of bonus supplies. Our “home” was clean when we walked in and any extra accommodations were taken care of with contact to the owners. My only wish was for a few more shower towels and a few extra dishes, I’m sure had we asked, they would have been provided. Overall a great trip, and great people to rent from!

This was our family’s first time staying in this Air BnB with Richard. We we’re AMAZED on what a great host Richard was. He was very attentive, knowledgeable and informative. He is always there when you need him. What a wonderful host. The house was in EXCELLENT condition, with all the amenities that you need. You can also tell that he pays attention to details. The house was maintained very nice, comfortable and clean. The surrounding area was kept clean and organized. At night there are lighted passages way to your door. This area is very safe and calm. Also an excellent location to many stores and restaurants in Kailua area and beach.
I would highly recommend this property anytime.

There are already several glowing reviews posted for this VRBO unit, and we completely agree with all the positives based on our stay in Oct 2017. I will focus on things not mentioned fully in other reviews.
Owners, Janina & Richard, are very responsive and professional, yet friendly and unintrusive. We had complete privacy with attentive support available when needed. Also, they are responsible owners and run their business very competently. For example, they solicit suggestions for improvement and immediately follow up and implement them; also, in our case, we opted to pay a $1500 damage deposit up front and it turned out that HomeAway changed their refund process, resulting in a slight delay in refunding it, so when Richard discovered this, he resolved it over the phone with HomeAway and sent me a refund notification before I realized there was any delay. Also, our flight arrived early enough in the day that we could check in about 3 hours earlier than the normal 3pm check-in time, and Janina made arrangements for us as soon as we called. All this is great customer service and we appreciate it. The unit is clean and meticulously maintained, just as we would want our home to be. And the rental rate was reasonable and a good value. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to the same unit. Thank you, Janina & Richard.
