You cannot go wrong with staying in the Waikoloa Villas, the grounds are beautiful, pools/spas are great and the location of this condo is great being near the end of the complex. We have been staying in Waikoloa for many years and we know how the older condo units look, which is what you get with this unit. With that said, the bed was comfortable and we appreciated the ground floor lanai. We would have liked a few more items in the kitchen to accommodate bbq in the pool area as no glass items allowed (we used a Costco cardboard box as our carrying tray and borrowed melamine plates from friends in the complex to put food on when bbq). We would rent here again if the opportunity presented itself.

Great location great complex. Unit was clean and owners rectified lack of hand soap and toilet paper. The unit, the towels and kitchen stuff has been enjoyed by many and is just tired and showing their age. Totally functional just a bit out of line for price point.

If I could give this property 10 stars I would. It wasn't the fanciest place but it felt like home. You won't find fancy coffees or chandeliers, but you will find absolutely everything you need to cook (even a blender!) in the spacious kitchen, everything you need to go to the beach (including chairs and boogie boards), and a wonderful view with gentle breezes on the porch (which overlooks a golf course all the way to the ocean). Sure, the beds are all in one room, but they are comfortable and there is a nice closet. There is no air conditioning, but the fans kept it cool enough. And, there are passes to a huge (Olympic sized?) pool and a yummy outdoor restaurant right down the road. I adore this place. Everything about it made me feel at home, right down to the music stand in the corner of the living room. I won't even bother to look for another place to stay on the Big Island. This is it for me.
