After the recent fires in Lahaina West Maui is welcoming back tourists. The local economy is heavily dependent on tourism, and this may be a once in a lifetime opportunity to explore Maui without the crowds.
Our unit is located in an area unaffected by the fires and is open for business as usual.
The Condo is a beautiful unit located at the Kuleana Resort on Maui's West Coast. The unit is on the top floor of a two story complex and is very spacious with 1080 square feet of living space. The unit is modern and up-to-date unlike some of the very old condos that are on the island. We take pride in keeping the unit in a good condition with regular upgrades and have many great reviews by people that have stayed there over the last years. Free wireless internet access is also provided.
There is one bedroom downstairs, a complete and newly renovated bathroom, kitchen, and main living room with a sofa sleeper. Upstairs is a loft that is the second bedroom with a full bathroom. There are air conditioning units in both the downstairs bedroom and in the loft. It also has gorgeous panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and the lovely offshore islands of Molokai and Lanai from the large deck. It is great for whale and turtle watching right off the lanai !
Kuleana is a very sought-after complex with meticulously maintained grounds where many guests return year after year and consider Kuleana one of the best kept 'West-Side' secrets. The resort offers a heated pool, meticulously kept grounds and many activities like tennis, shuffleboard, ping-pong tables and more. The resort is located on a large property and never gets crowded, even in peak season.
The resort has access to two great beaches, good for swimming, snorkeling, and just plain relaxing in the sun. It is a permanent home to some 10-15 turtles, and a great opportunity to spend some quality time snorkeling with them, or just watch them right from the beach.
It is in a great location on the island being just minutes away from the neighboring resort areas of Kaanapali and Kapalua that offer great shopping, restaurants and activities. It is close to all the tourist attractions, but far enough away to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet.

The unit is just what you need, great location, clean, enough room for 4 and snorkeling right on your doorstep, literally!
Saw turtles every day, and swam at the beautiful little beach, not crowded and ocean is just A+ at Kuleana.
Walk to Sushi, BBQ, small stores, one morning we walked to Napili! ... will definitely stay again.....Mahalo !!

What a terrific spot in paradise. This unit is on the top floor with a spectacular water view, perfect for whale watching season, and gorgeous Hawaiian sunsets. This is an older smaller resort that has beautiful, meticulous grounds, a clean heated pool, and is locateda right at the shoreline. I saw an amazing variety of fish snorkeling on our beach, and swam with turtles. We were close to Lahaina, and Kapalua, only 40 minutes from the airport. We had quick access to numerous beaches for snorkeling, but I preferred ours, and boogie boarding. Fleming beach has gorgeous waves and lifeguards. We had a couple of small issues with the condo and the owner was in contact with us quickly and took care of them. Although the unit is older, the owner has updated the kitchen and bathroom for convenience and comfort. The unit also has a private entrance, and is on the end of a building. When not out exploring the island, we spent time on the lanai. It only shares one side with another unit so there is a lot of light and open space on it, but also cover from the sun. At this part of the island, the road is close to the shore, so there is road noise. For us the convenient location, view, turtles and beach access made this a non issue. There was less noise at night, and air conditioners in the loft and bedroom lent white noise to mask road sounds when sleeping. The cleaning fee seemed high, which may have been for Covid cleaning. We would stay at Kuleana 206 again and highly recommend it.

Super easy to get to beach, beautiful views and no issues anywhere with the condo. We cooked most meals in and had all the dishes and cutlery we needed. Plenty of space for the four of us. Comfy beds and clean. We never needed any maintenance the property was just as described. Quiet complex. It was awesome!
