We were pleasantly surprised with the location of the condo, it is perfect walking distance to the beach and all the best shops in Waikīkī the only thing is we could not find hot pads for taking things out of the oven but we improvised.

This condo was the perfect location to walk to the beach, the store, anything you needed.
It was clean and we saved so mich money by cooking in the kitchen vs going out to eat.
My only suggestion would be to have oven mits or pot holders, foil and ziplock baggies. When I did make food, I had to store them in pots and pans covered with lids in the fridge and used a washcloth to grab things out of the oven. Wasn't a big deal as I improvised but would be a good addition.

First off, this is an old property so you should not expect brand new. The host was great. She kept in constant communication with us and made accommodations to fit our trip. Check in was super easy. We did have a learning curve on the 1st night with the door, given we had been traveling all night and arrived at nearly 10pm. So we were pretty exhausted by then. Room was clean and comfortable. We didnt use many things that were offered in the rental. But the host does have what you need to enjoy the beach which is great. There was quite a bit of construction going on and that may have been the reason for the water pressure/temperature issues we had. The elevators are a mess during check out time. You may need to go up before going down. We got smart on our check out day and took our bags down early in the morning so we didnt have to worry about trying to fit in the elevator. Parking is tight but there is ample parking available. FYI...google maps will always take you to the front of the hotel. But the parking entrance is off Kuhio st. With one way streets everywhere, you may be going in circles till you learn your way around.

Nice location - close to beach, Kapi'olani park and Ala Wai. Very comfortable. Nice to have access to beach chairs, small cooler and masks. Plenty of towels. Older cabinets - a few a little funky. Chair and couch could use an upgrade. But overall really great place for an extended stay in Honolulu. Free parking is a terrific bonus.

We loved the view and location. Lots of windows which was awesome! A nice little lanai to relax. We would stay again! My only complaint is the bathroom could have been cleaner. We also found an outlet which had been damaged and the pieces still left on the floor. I messaged the manager right away and she got right back to me, which I really appreciated! Thank you!

Very clean, great location, only one block from beach, and view of Diamond Head. Parking is convenient and adequate as well. Only issue was one of the four elevators was out of service our entire 5 day stay, making elevator wait times long and crowded.

As a first time visitor to Oahu, I found the location was convenient to all of the places we visited on the island (from the city to the North Shore). The city of Honolulu is crowded (especially Waikiki), traffic is busy and parking anywhere was a challenge, except when we arrived home each day. It was great being able to pull into the Banyan's garage and not worry about finding a parking spot. The apartment was exceptionally clean and fully stocked for all our needs. Only one drawback, the A/C stopped working 2 full days before we left. Maintenance checked it out quickly, and it probably needed replacement before the next guests check in. Overall, our stay was excellent and very much enjoyable.

The property including the unit are a bit dated. The couch was well past its prime , the arms were worn and not clean. Directions for the tv would have been nice. The location was excellent , pool and spa ok ! Access to the beach was awesome. The view was really cool.
