This quiet 400-square foot cottage sits by the blue-tiled pool and offers the perfect resting spot after a full day of activities or a sleepy day on the beach. It offers a full bath and kitchenette with full-sized refrigerator, microwave, and toaster oven.
Due to local zoning regulations, our minimum rental contract is for 30 DAYS. Longer terms also available.
The studio is detached from the owner-occupied main house and has a private side entrance and dedicated parking space. Come and go as you please. Guests have full use of the pool, pool deck, and private lanai for outdoor dining. Wireless internet and cable TV/BluRay provided.
Less than two minutes walking to the end of the street will bring you to world famous Kailua Beach, which is reached via a private gate. And a few minutes driving brings you to downtown Kailua, where you can enjoy dining, shopping, and the unique feel of one of the last true beach towns.
All of our electricity and hot water comes from the sun!

Dear Vacationer. Hawaii was a wonderful experience but this tiny guest house was not worth the money at all! First, I was not given the proper basic info initially during booking! As of which island is the guest house is on?! It say’s Kailua, HI! Which was confusing because There is another town with the same name in Kona! Please be aware! This guest house is in Kailua, OAHU, Honolulu! Which resulted of me purchasing 2 tickets one going to Kona airport and the other to HNL! Home owner failed to mention this important information which costed me an extra ticket that he refuses to refund! Second What you see is not what you get! It’s missing a laundry facility and a cooktop and privacy! Even though it is powered by solar power he had the yard pitch black after dark! Third! If you plan on sleeping in on your vacation…well he advised you won’t be able to do so! The pool filter is so loud it won’t allow you to relax … the filter is flush to the room wall and it kinks in super LOUD from 9:00 AM-4PM!! Fourth, In the picture it shows a nice open pool…but once you get there it’s all FENCED-UP and there is a BIG FILTER HOSE inside the pool which makes it uncomfortable and annoying to swim in! Fifth, this property and the surrounding properties had Gardner’s on each day of the week which made it so very loud to relax and to enjoy the room! NO PRIVACY! LOUD!

Everything we needed for a peaceful getaway. Well equipped-there isn’t a stove/oven but there is a hot plate and grill for use. The cottage was a short walk to the beach where we walked and watched the sunrise every morning m. Bob was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Can’t wait to return!

This was our 2nd stay inthe cottage. We missed nothing in this clean and very good equipped cottage. We enjoyed the pool very much. We felt like at home again. The owner is a great represetative of his country. Thank you fot one werk vacation in your paradise.

Bob was very warm and welcoming. He made the entire process so easy and streamlined. The location is very convenient to travel between Honolulu, the airport, and all north side locations. Kailua Bay and the nearby beach are gorgeous. Perfect sandy beach, no rocks to stumble on. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking, whether it is a drive along the coastline or through the mountains. Nice little getaway from the craziness of Waikiki and Honolulu.
