We had a lovely visit to the Big Island. It was wonderful to enjoy our morning coffee on the lanai where we watched whales, boaters, the surf, and a couple of goats. We also took advantaged of the gorgeous sunsets in the evening. The living room and dining room accommodated the 4 of us. The galley kitchen was tight, but we didn't spend a lot of time cooking. The pool was the perfect temperature in the evening. We would definitely stay here again.

This property is as stated. kitchen is well appointed. Right on the ocean. Right next to the pool and hot tub. Hot tub jets not functioning most of the time. Very clean. Walls are paper thin but expected, so windows open for waves difficult to hear over other people noise. close windows, use fans and ear plugs work fine. Found ants in an open box of sugar that somebody apparently didn't realize and left open. But that is typical for the entire island. You are on an island so don't leave open food out on counters or in cupboards! We took garbage out everyday as instructed! Overall an excellent experience here. Highly recommend it

The condo was easy to get to and in a great location for getting to different parts of the island. Beds were comfortable and the owner kept the condo stocked with lots of appreciated extras like beach chairs, coolers, ice packs for the coolers, box fans (great for white noise to sleep and during the hottest part of the day), and even some bamboo beach mats and beach towels! In unit laundry was helpful to have, too. The kitchen was well stocked for a rental and had most of the things we needed for cooking--which was great to not feel wasteful buying a ton of stuff. The balcony was fabulous--you can't get any closer to the ocean! There was a slight bump in the stay as just before our arrival, the upstairs unit (not this unit) had a leak which required their plumber entry to ours and had resulted in some damage/debris while he worked to fix it. Our unit owner and the upstairs owner were on top of communication and were kind, professional, and accommodating about the whole process. Management handled the plumber getting in and out so any impact was minimized as we did not need to alter our daily plans to let them in/out. As a condo owner myself, I understand the headache and I couldn't ask for anyone to have handled it better. the condo was very clean all around, though the bedroom carpets were on the older side, however, in speaking with the owner it looks like it will be getting upgraded shortly. Would definitely stay again!

For us, it is all about the location. Being able to look out on the ocean every day and watch the sunset from the lanai is a privilege. We have stayed in the same complex 3 times now, and so the area feels like home.
The unit had everything that we needed for a fabulous stay. The management was very responsive - a couple of minor issues were resolved immediately.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay in this condo. The view out the front/ off the lanai is fantastic. We would sit out on it every morning and have coffee & breakfast and watch the activity on the water (including spinner dolphins a few mornings!).
We were there in the summer (late Aug), and although the condo doesn't have air conditioning, it wasn't a problem. First, it wasn't horribly hot (85 during the day) and not very humid. Once the house was opened up (windows open), there was a strong, constant breeze through the house from the trade winds. There are also a couple fans in each bedroom to use.
The kitchen was well stocked, and we found beach chairs, beach towels, snorkel gear, cooler, boogie boards, etc. to use while we were there. The kids spent a few hours each afternoon playing in the pool. The house is comfortable, with all the amenities you'll need, and decorated in Hawaiian décor.
The condo is well situated within Kona, just under a mile walk to the downtown area. It's a 5-10 min drive from Safeway and Target. There is a terrific coffee shop on site -The Green Flash. The location allowed us to explore beaches up and down the coast (Maini'owali and Hapuna were 2 gems). Two Step and Kahalu'u were both great snorkel spots, and at least during the summer, calm enough for the kids. The host recommended a stop at the Hilton lagoons, which the kids loved.
Overall, a fantastic vacation, a great condo, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Our owner communicated with us in advance so we arrived prepared to easily get in and get settled. He provided suggestions for food and activities in the area. We felt personally welcomed even though we did not get to meet him. We have bragged to all our friends about the unit and the owner! Overall rating: Wow!

We have stayed at Sea Village a number of times, this is the best unit as far as view, proximity to pool, courtyard. The kitchen was well equipped for all of your cooking needs. There were beach chairs, towels, bogie boards, beach umbrellas. I will be back.

We really enjoyed this unit. As described in the listing, it could not be closer to the water without getting wet. The shoreline is volcanic rock w/o access (not sandy beach) but we love it. It is located about a mile south of historical downtown Kona, therefore very walkable into town. Also very accessible to some of the main roads that keep you out of the historical downtown if you are heading to other parts of the island. The kitchen has been nicely redone and modestly supplied with cooking pots/pans, etc. The check in process was easy. Information was provided by the unit manager via email and entry is a door lock code. There was plenty of parking close to the unit. Beach chairs and beach towels were appreciated for those days at the beach. Also, there are 2 small insulated coolers for drinks/snacks. We plan on booking again next yr. if possible.
