Damage & House Rules Policy / Guest Responsibilities.
We inspect every condo at every check out. We again inspect every condo before every Guest Arrival.
We have documentation for each condo to assure the condo is good condition and working order before your arrival.
1) Guest is responsible to pay for any missing/broken/damaged items, extra check out cleaning & for a drain or toilet that requires clearing due to Guest clogging the drain or toilet. Every condo has a plunger for the toilet. If you clog the toilet, please use the plunger provided. Calling a Plumber is a Guest Expense. 2) Do not use the Kitchen Sink Garbage disposal for potato peels, fruit rinds, banana peels, pineapples, egg shells, noodles, rice etc. Calling a Plumber is a Guest Expense. 3) Sand: Please rinse off all sand (self and gear) before entering the hotel/condo (there are rinsing stations at the beach) to avoid extra cleaning fee and clogging the shower drains. 4) Lanai: Please do not hang towels or other items from the lanai. Please do not feed the birds. 5) No smoking in condo, on lanai or in common areas. Guest charged to have upholstery, drapes and linens cleaned, deodorized. 6) Guest responsible to pay for locksmith if they lock themselves out the of the bathrooms or damage a lock.
CANCELLATIONS:
1) Reservation deposit is non-refundable. 2) Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the check in date can have the deposit applied to another stay at the same condo within one year of the original check in date. 3) Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to check in will forfeit deposit. 4) Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to check in will forfeit deposit and rental balance payment. 5) We strongly encourage you to get travel insurance so a cancellation can be recovered.
Rentals are not transferable to another...

My second stay at the Ilikai and I thought our first condo experience couldn’t be beat. However, unit 1938 has won out over our previous unit!
Clean, spacious, with beautiful views and a great location if you’re looking for something not as hectic as right in the heart of Waikiki. Only small thing for us that we didn’t love was there was a bit of a hiccup with the door locking at first. We had a good few minutes of frustration the first night as we couldn’t get it to lock. There was about ten minutes left in the management company’s office hours but I got no answer when I called. We were mildly distraught as not being able to lock it until the next day’s office hours meant we were stuck in the condo the rest of day vs being able to go out and explore our first afternoon/evening in Waikiki. Thankfully we persevered and figured out it was a matter of an older wooden door in a humid climate meant having to make sure it was held tight to be sealed before trying to lock it. In the grand scheme of things it was only a small blip in our stay, but I think slightly more specific instructions for locking would be helpful for future guests. We will definitely stay here again, and look forward to the next time!! :)

We loved the location of this unit. It was just perfect except that the water pressure in the kitchen was low. We contacted the management company but it was not corrected. Other than that the unit was absolutely perfect and we will stay here again.
