You will fall in love with Shaka Hale. Relax away from all of the chaos in this great local neighborhood. Sit in the hammock, or enjoy an evening meal outside on the lanai while you listen to the local birds surrounded by the lush green tropical plants. Everything you need is within a short 5 minute drive. A great, family friendly beach is just 150 yards away. This beach is great for kids, beginning surfers and stand up paddle boarding. The Hauula Shopping Center is only a 5-min walk away - where there's a grocery store, local eateries and a health center. It's a5-minute drive to the Polynesian Cultural Center and the Brigham Young University Hawaii campus. Visit world famous North Shore beaches in just 15 minutes.
Shaka Hale is a 2-bedroom and a 1-bath home. The full bathroom is a tub shower combo. Basic kitchen utensils such as pots, pans, plates, cups and silverware are available. There are 2 sofas and a large Smart TV in the living room. The kitchen has a gas oven range and rice cooker. Paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, bath towels and beach towels are also provided. Guests can use the paddle board, surf board and kayaks available. Guests have access to the washer and a dryer. There's even a Pack N Play for small children. You can park up to 2 cars on the right side of the open garage.

You will be comfortable with the new portable AC unit during your stay. You won't miss your favorite shows and connecting with family and friends because the home has a Smart TV and wifi. The kitchen has basic kitchen utensils such as pots, pans, plates, cups, silverware, etc. There is also a gas range, full fridge, coffee maker, rice cooker, and a sink. Shampoo, toilet paper, paper towels, bath towels and beach towels are also available for guest use. The washer and dryer make it easy to keep towels clean during your stay. If you need it, the home has a Pack N Play.

Very close to the beach!!! Plenty of local restaurants and stores, many within walking distance, and others with very short drive times.
TONS of gear free for use in the outside laundry room: boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrella, water shoes, etc..
Host was super friendly, and quickly responded to any/all of our needs.

It was nice to have our family vacation in a house rather than a city
Hotel and being able to walk to the beach in 5 minutes was great.
Everything we needed was on the property. Just bring your own food and beverage and Relax and enjoy. Mary and family

We had the most incredible time here. The layout of the house allowed us to all have our own space as well as space for game and movie nights as well as a fantastic deck to grill on every evening. This was the perfect spot for our family! Thank you so much!

We all really liked the stay here. It was away from the hustle and bustle of the big city and gave us time to explore the real Hawaiian culture. It clearly felt like home for us. Will definitely recommend they stay in Hauula to my extended family and friends.

The property owners were great and super responsive. Neighborhood is a little dated but location is great, close to the PCC and North shore beaches. Would recommend to a friend.

This VRBO worked out perfectly for us. We were able to prepare/cook deserts for a wedding that we were attending in Hau’ula this past Saturday. The two kitchens, ovens and refrigerators came in handy. Micah was responsive and a good host.

We stay here with my fiance, friend and another couple. I loved that we were able to rent both units as it was great to be able to spread out when we wanted to, but come together in the main house for meals or to hang out in the evening. The place was clean and I loved that they left things from previous renters such as spices and hot sauce. A Lot of rentals do not leave that but it is nice if it is left on hand. Our hose was great and very attentive.
My only complaint is the AC. The house has several units and they have obviously made an effort to cool it down but we were there in September and it was VERY hot. We kept running the units but it was not enough to cool down the main house. I do not want that to completely detract from the rental as we had a good time and were very happy to have the garage to park the car but it would have been nice to have a stronger AC unit for the main house. Maybe during most of the year it is not a problem but September was quite warm. Thank you for the great hospitality!

It was so nice to have a spacious place to stay that included everything we needed to be comfortable. Plenty of kitchen things from all sizes of pits and pans to a blender to make smoothies. Several boogie boards to choose from and snorkeling equipment. A washer and dryer to wash our clothes. Comfortable beds. In a beautiful location.
