Welcome to one of the best locations on the island! Located just under half a mile (or 5 minute walk) from the beach, surfing, park, restaurants, shops and stores. We have A/C in all rooms. Our private cottage offers complete relaxation for the perfect Maui vacation.

We are LEGALLY licensed with the County of Maui. There are no extra fees besides Hawaii state accommodation and GE tax.

Located in the heart of sunny South Kihei in a safe and quiet neighborhood. We are near the famous Kamaole white sand beaches and are a 5 minute walk to just about everything:
- Kalama Beach Park (playground, tennis, volleyball, basketball, and more)
- Many restaurants, coffee shops, and bars
- Shops, boutiques, open air markets
- Farmers Market and Grocery store
- The Cove Beach Park (paddle boarding and beginner surfing)
- Kamaole Beach Park 1, 2, 3
Quick Drive (10 minutes):
- Wailea
- World class golf courses
- Airport (20 minute drive)
Simply walk to the bottom of street and you're in the heart of Kihei! Kalama Beach is located at the end of the road where you will find Kalama Park and "The Cove", the best surf spot on the south side of the island! Take surfing lessons or try stand up paddle boarding. Turn left and walk beyond Cove Park and you find Charley Young beach which is part of the famous Kamaole beaches. Turn right and you will find Kalama Village, the place for everything in Kihei. Kihei's Kalama Village offer unique shopping and dining experiences with great places to eat and over 40 vendors and boutiques!
In the morning, walk to the end of the street for breakfast and coffee at the best breakfast spot in Kihei, Kihei Cafe. Enjoy the gorgeous sunsets from your lanai at the house or at the beach from The Cove and Kalama park.

This is a detached cottage and it features:
- Modern kitchen with new cabinets and granite counter tops
- All new stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher
- 1 large bedroom with a king size bed
- Shared exterior covered washer and dryer
- Updated bathroom. The shower and toilet area is quite small. Please consider this if you have mobility issues before booking. To further clarify there is not a lot of space in front of the toilet so your knees may touch the wall while sitting. Also the shower is relatively small with a low shower head. We want our guests to be aware of this before booking.

Very nice place that is great for two people! We stayed there for a week. Pretty much every thing we needed for enjoying our “Beach Time” was provided.And definitely a short walk to get to the beach. The Kitchen was excellent and well stocked, including condiments. Only item worth mentioning is the Small stand up shower and toilet area. If you’re a Large person, this May be looking into.

We stayed in Kihei for 4 nights and were very pleased with the cottage. It was very comfortable and perfectly located to walk to almost all destinations in Kihei.

Loved the patio area. Bathroom extremely small,,We are small people so I do not know how a large person could manage. Also two huge liabilities for the owner. The first being the step coming out of the bathroom. The second is the step from living area into the kitchen. As seniors we found them to be EXTREMELY dangerous !!! Mold in shower head, towel rack ready to fall off the wall, TV unable to watch for us ,as the sound needs to be repaired. Several huge roaches in the house .Neighbors extremely noisy!! Other than that, LOVED Hawaii and hated to leave. We really did enjoy our stay but thought the owner should be aware of the two steps before some gets seriously hurt.

The listing says two adults, and I agree, more than 2 adults would be cramped. Thanks for a lovely stay!!

We were looking for a quiet, safe location that had a king bed! Place was clean had a lot of amenities such as a grill outback that we didn’t use couple lawnchair‘s awning and snorkel gear, which was great. It might be in the listing we didn’t see it, so we brought our own, who is nice to have a laundry place as well be nice if they can figure out a way to do recycling but we understand.

The cottage is a good size for 1-2 people. We enjoyed being close to beaches, restaurants and activities. It has a large bedroom with a comfortable bed. The decor in the cottage is nice. After our almost 3 weeks there, we did notice items that need attention to:
1. The BBQ is very nice and clean, but the starter on it did not work and there was no alternative way to start it. We purchased a candle lighter. 2. The garburator did not work but since we don’t use a garburator, it was not a big issue for us. 3. The back patio has solar lights on the fence which is a nice touch. The solar panel was installed facing into the palm trees and not to the sun, so they didn’t work. 4. The kitchen could be better stocked. The wine opener was broken beyond use and there were no wine glasses in the place. We purchased. There was not a casserole dish (or any other oven proof dishes) that could go in the oven. 5. Kitchen is dark and could use some under cabinet lighting. 6. Pictures show a lounger in the back yard but there is no lounger. 7. Book in cottage says there is a cooler and ice packs in the kitchen but we couldn’t find them. 8. Sheets, pillows, towels and beach chairs are well worn. 9. The place could use a good cleaning. Especially the floors, windows, fan light covers, shower and the shower curtain. 10. You can see daylight under the front door and the patio screen is pushed out on the bottom and has a tear in the screen. With this being ground floor, this should be closed up to help prevent the bugs from coming in. The cottage has great potential but needs some attention to details.
