Let the sounds of the ocean put you to sleep at night with the security of this second floor unit. Enjoy your morning coffee or tea on your private lanai. From your oceanview unit, you can view our lush gardens and see the whales at play.
At the Islander, you can enjoy a swim in the pool, ocean or relax in the hot tub after a day of hiking to scenic cliffs and waterfalls. Spend the day watching whales, surfers, kite boarders or just enjoy the beauty and sounds of the ocean at our very quiet sandy beach. The Coconut Marketplace has over 60 shops and restaurants which are just steps away from the Islander. Enjoy a sunset cocktail at our pool side Tiki bar as you grill up your freshly caught fish on one of our ocean side grills, then enjoy your tasty meal at our picnic tables overlooking the Pacific Ocean. There are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores in walking distance of the Islander for your convenience. On the grounds there is an activity shop where you can rent bikes, surf boards, boogie boards, kayaks, snorkeling equipment, etc. to truly enjoy Kauai and all it has to offer. There is also a very scenic walking/bike trail that runs along the coast for all to enjoy.
This six acre oceanfront plantation style resort was totally refurbished in 2005. Our unit has travertine floors, granite counter tops, tropical style furnishings, and a mini bar area where you can prepare an afternoon mai tai and pupus (light foods). Our unit comes fully furnished with kitchen utensils, refrigerator, toaster, rice/vegetable steamer, coffee maker, electric frying pan, blender and microwave. We also supply linens, beach towels, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, room safe, cable HD TV, stereo CD/DVD player, beach chairs, etc. Several nearby laundry options. Both our Units 244/256 have free in room WiFi for your use along with the main lobby area.
Being self-managed we are able to offer very warm and comfortable accommodations at a great value for our guests! We have NO added resort fees, NO amenity fees and NO parking fees. We can now also offer a second studio unit for guests traveling with friends. Advanced bookings is advised for open dates. The property grounds are extremely well maintained and the proximity to local stores and market makes this property very appealing. I found the bed very hard. The unit could use glass wine glasses instead of plastic and the basic kitchen condiments like salt and pepper would be an improvement. We were asked to wash the dishes but no dishsoap was provided. All in all it is a nice condo and would probably stay there again.

Great location for all activities on the island. I also loved the location in Coconut Marketplace and being close to restaurants, groceries, and shopping. The unit was so close to the beach and I walked the bicycle/ walking path every morning for wonderful beach views. Grounds are also beautiful!

Its a nice rental. Clean, furnished appropriately to not make a compact space feel cramped, and provides good solid basics. The owner has signage / printed instructions for most potentially confusing things (and in a near miracle the signage is readable and tasteful in color and font). Check-in/Check-out was painless and self-service. Would stay again.

This studio is a lovely home base, on beautiful garden grounds just steps from a great walking beach, which you can just catch a glimpse of from the lanai. We needed to prepare our own meals and were able to manage quite well with the basics provided in the small kitchen area. Hosts are wonderful and easy to communicate with.

Amazing location right next to the beach and several shops/restaurants. We spent many mornings sitting on the provided beach chairs with our coffee watching the sunrise. It was nice to have a larger space to unpack and relax for the first half of our trip. There are chickens EVERYWHERE, so make sure to bring some ear plugs unless you don’t mind a 4:30am rooster wake-up call…personally we loved it :) I would definitely recommend this place to others and would stay again!

We were happy with the unit and the location seemed to be central to many attractions. The owners provided two mini refrigerators and dishes and other items making it convenient for us. We would love to go back to Kauai and stay at this unit again!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were impressed by how well equipped the condo was! There were even beach toys! We found the location to be great for exploring both the north shore and the south shore. Coconut Marketplace is just across the parking lot and Safeway is less than a mile away. The owners provided clear, timely information and were very responsive. We would definitely stay here again.
