E Komo Mai! Welcome to 603 Kamaole Beach Royale, our home away from home.
We enjoy a spectacular view of the beach, the ocean, and the neighbour islands from the sixth floor of Kamaole Beach Royale, a seven-story building situated right across the street from Kamaole Beach #1 in south Kihei. Kamaole Beach #1 is one of three famous beaches within walking distance and was voted Maui’s #1 swimming beach by Maui Revealed, (2014 Edition).
Our condo, which we purchased in May, 2019, is tastefully furnished and decorated, featuring original Hawaiian artwork gathered over the many years our family has lived on Maui, Hawaii’s “Valley Isle”. We have two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a private, double lanai, (deck) accessible from both living room and master bedroom.
In the last few months we have purchased high-quality linens, bath towels, beach towels, Hawaiiana designer dishware, new lanai furniture, artwork, and living room furniture. Our kitchen is fully-stocked with everything you need to enjoy home-cooked dinners on our ocean-view lanai. We keep pantry essentials stocked for our guests, including tea, coffee, spices, olive oil, avacado oil, and vinegars.
Our master bedroom opens to the double lanai, which overlooks the beach & ocean, and features a queen-sized, 4 poster bed with 800 thread count sheets and custom, designer bedspread. The ocean will lull you to sleep every night.
Our second bedroom, facing Mt Haleakalaa, has a queen-sized "sleigh bed", 800 thread count sheets, and custom Hawaiiana bedspread. Wake to see the sunrise over Haleakalaa.
We are pleased to offer our guests the use of our many beach toys, including two quality snorkel sets (man’s and woman’s mask, fins, and snorkel) 4 Tommy Bahama beach chairs, umbrella, frisbees, various beach balls, and coolers and “cold bags” - great for picnics on the beach or for hiking up Haleakalaa. We have binoculars on hand for whale-watching from the lanai during whale season (December - April).
We provide complementary high-speed Wi-fi and toll-free calling to the US mainland and to Canada. Our condo is maintained on an ongoing basis with assistance from our on-island representatives, Orvill and Julie Garren, who make sure everything is in place prior to your arrival. Orvill (who was our renovation contractor) and Julie are available to provide any assistance you might need during your stay.
The views from our private lanai are especially spectacular at sunset. At sunrise, the tiny island birds will greet you from the palm tree fronds that reach the lanai, and, if you provide even the slightest encouragement, they will be on the lanai with you. (Please do not let them come into the condo!)
Kamaole Beach Royale, is a beautifully landscaped, concrete-frame, and, therefore, very quiet, building. Take advantage of the lovely pool and surrounding gardens, and, as a special treat, visit the KBR rooftop garden, equipped with tables, lounges and commercial grade BBQ’s. Enjoy the 180 view from the rooftop garden and meet other KBR guests over a sunset drink.
Or, just chill out on your private lanai in # 603 and watch the sun slowly set over the ocean and the neighbour islands. The property was wonderful and very well appointed. Wendy was an excellent host; she was responsive to our needs and even helped us with a special situation. The condo is in walking distance of an excellent stretch of beach and lots of amenities. We especially enjoyed the access to the upstairs rooftop deck. The only negative was the lack of a view from the secondary bedroom. We would definitely book this condo again

Was our first time to Hawaii and couldn’t have asked for a better location! Perfect views of the ocean from the lanai and such an easy walk to a beautiful beach. Loved the convenience of it all including the cafe and gelato across the street. Having the beach towels and boogie boards was such a great bonus.

Very clean and accommodating. Amazing view. Excellent location near to shopping and restaurants. Short walk to the beach and the pool is available if you would rather stay close to home. Would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises.

This is an outstanding condo the view is incredible the condo was fully stocked communication with Wendy was excellent we did not have to need or want for anything the amenities were outstanding!
Very comfortable beds the showers were great everything was just pure excellence!
Just steps away from the ocean the coffee in the morning on the Lanai watching the sunrise and wine in the evenings watching the sunset was unreal!
This will be the only condo I reserve in future trips!

Communication with owner was easy and very responsive. Condo was exceptionally clean and well-equipped with high end furnishings and kitchen/picnic/beach supplies. Our favorite thing was the awesome rattan recliners on the lanai! We spent a lot of time in them, from coffee in the morning to wine in the evening to watch the sunset and/or the electric bike parade from the 6th floor. Easily walkable to the beach, restaurants and shops. We wouldn’t change a thing - would definitely stay here again!

We (two adults) enjoyed the accommodations, convenient location, and ocean/sunset views from the lanai for five days. The condo is comfortable, beautifully decorated, well-appointed with everything needed in kitchen and bathrooms, and has comfortable beds, nice & plentiful towels, and beach gear. Handy location for walks and beach-time on close-by Kihei beaches; and quite a few shops/restaurants were within walking distance. Location is a strong advantage for getting to other stores, restaurants, and the airport.
An unavoidable issue for one person who needed to work remotely most mornings, was gardeners working nearby and garbage trucks repeatedly doing pick-ups were noisy, requiring closing sliding doors and working inside, rather than sitting in the lanai enjoying the mild breezes. This would be a lesser concern for vacationers going out to other activities every morning.
It was nice to enjoy comfortable chairs on the lanai later in the day. Parking was sometimes tight, but we were never unable to find a spot in the condo lot. The patio on the top floor with BBQs was nice, although we didn't have a chance to use it.

What can we say, simply fantastic. From the first inquiry with Wendy to check out, communication was excellent. Always accommodating and pleasant. This VRBO felt like home. Clean, fully stocked, great location. Comfortable beds and the double lanai is such a great addition. The property is maintained very well and although we didn’t use the pool much it is one of the cleanest we’ve experienced. Given the opportunity, we would rebook in a heartbeat. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us so we could have an amazing family vacation.

The condo was a perfect size for our family of four. First, it was centrally located so we had a convenient drive to all of our planned excursions. The beach was RIGHT across the street. The condo was equipped with beach chairs, towels, cooler, and umbrella for our use. We really appreciated this. The ocean view right from our balcony was fantastic, we enjoyed many sunsets. We didn’t do much cooking here, but the kitchen was fully stocked with anything we needed. The beds were comfortable and towels soft. All toiletries were fully stocked. Wendy’s condo is conveniently located across Kamaole Beach 1, right in the heart of Kihei close to restaurants, bakeries, grocers. The condo is very clean/spacious and equipped with all the amenities that you need for cooking. The double lanai with recliners and dining table/chairs were great for outdoor dining, reading, whale watching and lovely sunsets. Wendy is a great host and very accommodating and generous….you will not regret booking her lovely home!!
