- The Beach - Lush tropical landscaping creates a private oceanfront oasis. Step off the backyard and sink your toes into the sugary sand of Pipeline, which stretches on for miles. The most beautiful sights Hawaii has to offer are located just out your door. In the calmer spring and summer months snorkeling, scuba, jet ski, swimming, and sun bathing are heaven like. Or grab one of the coveted weeks during big wave season to experience the awesome sight of Pipeline being surfed by the best in the world. Stunning sunsets are had all year round.
- The Neighborhood - Blue Wave sits along the famous Bike Path that runs from Sunset Beach to Waimea. Located about 1.5 miles from beloved Ted's Bakery, there are also loads of excellent food trucks close by for everything from acai bowls to fish tacos. Formal dining options are located at nearby Turtle Bay Resort, as are two premier golf courses. Snorkeling is fantastic at Sharks Cove, which is less than one mile down the road, and hiking trails abound. We haven't mentioned waterfalls yet! Waimea Falls and the rain forest is about a mile down the street. The charming and friendly surf town Haleiwa is close by for shopping, galleries and more fish tacos.

This is hardly a luxury property. There were so many issues with the house, it was apparent it has been poorly maintained. All of the sliding doors did not operate correctly, with missing or broken screens, locks that didn't work, or just impossible to open and close. The house wasn't very clean, with cobwebs and dust on doors and ledges. dirty washer and dryer, flaking paint, etc. Much of the furniture and rugs were filthy. Light fixtures didn't work or had missing bulbs. Electrical outlets didn't function or would trip the breaker. TVs in bedrooms didn't work. Portable air conditioning units didn't work. I could go on and on. Granted, it's in a gorgeous setting in a world-class location, but the home needs some serious cleaning and maintenance.

Great location and house. However - if you are expecting central air — this house did not have it. Had “individual units” in each bedroom — ours quit working. Don’t really need it most of time except late afternoon when sun hitting west facing coast. House great for kids and family - right on beach. Easy access. House needs a bit of updating for appliances, patio screen doors, etc. But overall, we were pleased.

Don’t really need it most of time except late afternoon when sun hitting west facing coast. House great for kids and family - right on beach. Easy access. House needs a bit of updating for appliances, patio screen doors, etc. But overall, we were pleased.

Location awesome overall really enjoyable.
Some of the sliders and windows not working properly. Would suggest automatic gate with digital key pad.

My family enjoyed our stay in the Blue Wave House. The beach was beautiful and we witnessed some stunningly gorgeous sunsets from the lanai. The house was very clean (no pests at all); however, it did have some small maintenance issues - the shower curtain in the jack&jill bathroom was moldy and the clothes dryer continually caught and tangled your clothes due to the dryer vent having a piece of broken plastic inside. Communication with the property manager was timely and effective. The location was nice, although traffic in the area did occasionally get bad due to the surf picking up (the house is located on Pipeline Beach). Haleiwa is a fun little town with terrific shops and restaurants.

The property and location are perfect! Plenty of sleeping options, a view that can’t be beat, and perfect to get away from the hustle of Waikiki and other more touristy locales.
