Hukilau Hale is perched on cliffs overlooking the third hole of Kona Country Club golf course. Located within a small gated community of Holua Kai adjacent to the Holua Racquet and Paddle Center and walking distance from Keauhou Bay, the Sheraton Resort & Convention Center and several historical sites.
Built in 2018, Hukilau Hale is Hawaiian plantation style architecture with 2,333 square feet of open concept living. The private entry porch and courtyard garden invites you to kick off your shoes and step into a great room with a 20-foot pocketing, mahogany glass door that connects the lanai to the great room and your ocean views. The lanai with comfortable outdoor seating, a plunge pool, outdoor shower and conversation area is perfectly positioned to enjoy your sunsets.
At the center of the great room is a spacious gourmet kitchen with all pro appliances: induction cook-top, oversized oven and microwave, wine fridge and refrigerator with ice and water in the door. There is generous storage pantry for groceries and beverages. A large continuous granite countertop kitchen island is furnished with swivel back bar stools for casual dining and a convenient side buffet that can accommodate set-ups for your coffee or beverages. The BBQ is located in the fenced courtyard just off the kitchen.
The ceiling of the great room features a grass cloth ceiling with mahogany trim and an island style ceiling fan. The great room floors are off white porcelain tile with area rugs. A custom Koa wood dining table will accommodate six people comfortably. Opposite the dining table is a comfy living room with a comfy down cushion sofa, swivel chairs with moveable foot stools and a 70ā flat screen TV with local channels. The house also has WiFi. Hukilau Hale is styled for a casual beach lifestyle with the textures of Hawai'i.
Hukilau is a three-bedroom suite home. Two King size bed suites with TV's, one with a soaking tub and both with walk-in showers and large closets. The third bedroom has a Queen bed with private bath, shower/tub and a teak wardrobe closet. All bedrooms have carpeting, black out shades, fans and operable windows.
A convenient utility room is equipped with a modern washer and dryer and counter. A landline phone with answering machine are located here. The home has central air conditioning.
Outdoor shower is located near pool, for easy rinsing off and gear clean up. A drying rack and hooks are provided on Lanai for drying beach towels. There are two off street parking spaces in front of the garage. The garage is not available to guest.
There is a community center accessed by a path across the street from the house. There you will find a larger pool, a large spa, a covered dining area, lounge chairs, restrooms, shower and foot wash and two professional BBQ's.
Property is on-ADA compliant, non-smoking, and no pets are allowed. Minimum night varies seasonally between 5 - 10 nights.

We loved staying at Blue View!! The home is lovely. The kitchen is well stocked. We were able to make meals without issue. We loved the sunsets over the pool and the lights from the Manta Ray boats moored in the evenings. Very special.
We did run into an issue when we opened the doors for indoor/outdoor living and turned off the air. The A/C is moderated so it cycles on and off, meaning you canāt cool house back down for 8-10 hrs or overnight. So beware of that. Once we left the doors closed, all was well again. It didnāt affect the joy of our stay and the incredible views being right on the water watching golfers and goats!
If you canāt be happy here, you arenāt thinking clearly. Blue View is what dreams are made of!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was just the right size for our family of 4, and very well appointed - nice appliances and amenities. The view is absolutely remarkable. The sun sets right at the midpoint of the backyard. We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended.

This property is gorgeous! Itās a very quiet neighborhood and close to a lot of excursions and restaurants. The golf course is beautiful! Only wish we had access toy the water from the back yard

We rented this house to be by the sea and that it was. House is relatively new and it felt clean and refreshing. The bedrooms are generosity sized, all ensuite bathrooms. The kitchen is GE Monogram so pleasant to cook in.
The only minor complaint was the A/C could not be lowered beneath 72. Some parts of the house could be much warmer based on distance from vents. The pool is not heated, which was no issue, but we had to share it with the mynah birds! The golf course was no issue as the tee is much lower than the lanai and no one could see over. Very private.
