This fantastic, second floor, 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom, end unit retreat will have you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated with its delightful view of the ocean and manicured tropical gardens from the lanai. "Serenity" is tastefully furnished with vaulted ceilings in the living room and dining room, plantation shutters bringing in bright sunlight, central air conditioning, large 48" flat screen smart TV with a DVR cable box, and designer touches throughout.
The condo sleeps 4 comfortably as there is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Open the sliding glass door to the lanai with bar-height table and 4 chairs to gaze perfectly at the blue ocean, the colorful sunsets, and enjoy the gentle trade winds. "Serenity's" kitchen is fully-equipped with top of the line stainless steel appliances, maple cabinets and granite countertops. Enjoy your meal indoors or 'al fresco' style outside.
When the day is over, you will be sure to sleep in comfort in the quiet, elegantly furnished bedroom complete with a California King size bed, large custom cherry-wood closet with sliding shoji doors, flat screen TV, ensuite bath, and private lanai. The walk-in shower has the humpback whales engraved for an extra added 'island' touch. There is an additional guest bathroom with walk-in shower and just like the primary ensuite, the tile in this bathroom has an engraved sea turtle.
This oceanfront resort is close to Kihei and in the heart of Wailea with shops, highly acclaimed restaurants, 3 world-class golf courses, tennis center, the 'Wailea Beach Path' (1.8 mile), and exquisite white sandy beaches all very close by. The Ekahi Village is a 2-story condo complex set in a meticulously maintained, tropical garden setting. A large, heated beachfront pool with a newly reconstructed community pavilion is a short 5-minute stroll down the greenway. Wailea Ekahi no longer allows private grills but they offer a beautiful gas grilling area at the community Pavilion. There are 3 other quiet pools in the complex. In fact, one of the 'quiet' pools with an ocean view sits adjacent to this unit. Ekahi Village is oceanfront and has private, direct access to the famous Keawakapu beach which stretches for miles. It is perfect for those morning walks or evening sunset strolls. "Serenity" (48E) will have you going home feeling refreshed and more than ready to plan that next trip back to Maui!
New Fitness Center. The facility is available from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily. Located just inside the Beach Pavilion, there are 3 pieces of cardio equipment, dumbbells ranging from 1-50 lbs, and a few other accessories that provide a full body workout. You must be 18 or over, sign a waiver of release, and no swim attire is permitted. Close-toed athletic shoes are required and ask that users dress appropriately.
While we strive to keep all photos up to date, there may be new and updated pieces of furniture or décor that are different than in the original pictures. The functionality, available seating and sleeping space will remain the same or may improve.

Our first time in Maui. Wailea was a nice area and the condo was a fairly affordable place. It was nice having access to the beach, several pools and a small fitness room. The grounds were well kept. Our only complaint is the sliding door windows to the lanai hadn't been cleaned. It was obvious the previous guests had little children as there were a lot of small hand prints on the glass. But all in all it was a great place and we'll definitely consider it again on our next visit.

The condo is located within the fantastic Ekahi Village property. Easy walking access (~10 minutes) to the main pool and pavilion which is adjacent to the beach. A smaller pool is very close to the condo. The kitchen has all the pots/pans you could need. There is a partial view of the ocean in the distance.
The condo is advertised for 4 people, but that's not practical. The bedroom has a very comfortable bed, but the pullout couch bed makes very loud noises with every movement.

Lovely little condo. with a few caveats. Wailea Ekahi- in a terrific location for access to all of South Maui and easy access to other Maui locations as well. The well-appointed poolside pavilion and gorgeous Keawakapu Beach are about a 5-8 minute walk (not suitable for individuals with difficulty navigating stairs or walking a steep terrain), and the multiple pools are a bonus. An in unit washer/dryer is helpful. Check in/check-out was a breeze, and property management was expeditious in tackling a ghost ant problem we discovered upon arrival, along with replacing the torn bedsheets we found on the Master bed. Ample towels (shower and beach), and house-keeping amenities (soaps, paper towels, toilet tissue, washer pods, etc.) were provided. All in all, it was a good stay.
Pros:
• In unit washer/dryer
• Adequate kitchen
• Comfortable Master bed
• 2 bathrooms
• Location
• Management communication.
Cons:
• Sofa/sofabed terribly uncomfortable, dated, worn out and in dire need of replacing.
• A/C has fixed temp. control that doesn't allow for cooling below 74°. It's a big deal when it is almost 90° in the Maui summer sun. Unit never feels very cool
& ceiling fans (while helpful) aren't enough to cool things significantly. This limiter isn't in the listing and only discovered upon arrival. One expects to have the ability to adjust the temperature to best suit personal comfort for sleeping when paying for A/C.
• Torn bed linens & dusty lamps is a bit sloppy of housekeeping.

Pool with direct beach access is ideal. Great unit with beautiful grounds. Like the friendly laid back energy of Wailea and Kihei

Pros: location, beautiful landscaping, and friendly grounds staff
Cons: lack of communication from property manager (stopped replying via text and never replied via email), lack of supplies (buy all your kitchen needs - it only has salt and pepper), one paper towel, a few laundry pods, 1 set of shampoo/conditioner, lack of basic beach amenities for visitors (no beach umbrella, no boogie boards, etc). The pull out couch mattress is horrible and needs to be replaced. It’s overused and you can feel the wires. They also did not provide extra pillows for the pull out.
My brother and sister (+their families) stayed at their own Ekahi village properties at the same time and they had much better amenities for short stay visitors to make it as easy and seamless. I would have preferred another property within Ekahi for the amount we are paying per night. We stayed for an entire week and needed more than what this unit provided. I would have received better amenities staying at a hotel!

We loved the proximity of the Ekahi condo to beaches and restaurants in Wailea. The grounds are extraordinary, so lush. The condo was clean upon arrival. Amenities were scarce, just the basics; linens a bit worn; minimal towels; and dated furniture. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, etc., but no spices, oil or other condiments. We did have an issue with the fire alarm/detector. The first night it went off three times in the middle of the night. Changed the batteries twice, still rang. Finally removed (why should we be doing this?) to see it was over ten years old. The maintenance company did replace after two days, but why not be proactive and check those things, especially safety issues? Despite the interruption, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will certainly return.

Loved the property’s amenities, the beach, the location, the lanai. The unit was well equipped with most things you would need. Comfortable bed and furniture. Wish there were boogie boards or other beach gear aside from just the chairs and cooler but all in all would stay here again.
