Poipu has the best Kauai beaches for swimming. Poipu Beach Park is kid-friendly and best for exploring tide pools, snorkeling, and building sandcastles. You can walk there from the condo.
The condo is upgraded but it's not luxury, it's upgraded to be island style with bamboo and such, it's very nice, very comfortable and incredible location, if luxury is what you're looking for, this is not it, if you're looking for comfort, amazing location, incredible views, romance, privacy and want to watch ocean wild life right in front of your own eyes, this is the condo you're looking for!
Due respect to all guests, there are two types of guests, some guests are coming to Hawaii to have a wonderful time, enjoy the condo and the views, those guests are more than welcome! There are guests who are coming to do property inspection, enjoying a vacation is the last thing on their mind! I don't know of any property that is 100% perfect in every aspect and I don't know of any ocean front property in a high humidity, wet climate, salt air with strong winds like the state of Hawaii that will not have rust here or there or electronics never breakdown! If you are coming to do property inspection rather than have a nice comfortable, relaxing vacation in a nice, clean property with amazing views, please save your money, your time and energy and keep searching for the perfect ocean front property that's perfect in every aspect!

When looking at pictures on-line it is easy to wonder if you are seeing an accurate representation of the property. Here, the pictures do not do it justice. The view from the balcony is simply gorgeous. The condo is located in the heart of Poipu and provides easy access to anywhere you want to go on Kauai. We had a wonderful experience.

We really enjoyed this place. Description is accurate. The location and views are phenomenal. You can walk to Brenneck’s beach and Poipu beach see turtles emerging from the sea to rest on the beach at sunset and monk seals resting on the shore. Quick drive to Kaloa for funky eats and shops and even closer to a couple of market places with restaurants and shops. Sitting on the deck at the place and watching an abundance of turtles swimming around is so cool. Host was very responsive and was even able to accommodate a late checkout which was much appreciated! Highly recommend!

Wonderful waterfront unit, within easy walking distance of Poipu Beach. Very clean, modern, and comfortable place. Communications with Melodee was always very quick. We will definitely want to stay there again!

Great property & responsive hosts. Sitting in deck watching the turtles before we head to airport. Walk to Poipu beach; many sites, shops & restaurants less than 15 minute drive.

It is a great location, easy walking to Poipu Beach Park! Amazing views off the deck and everything was very comfortable… Beds, etc. Melodee was lovely to deal with and always responded quickly! The only hardship was it is hard to pull yourself away from the lanai! There’s always something beautiful to see! Turtles all day long, we saw dolphins, rainbows, palm trees swaying in the breeze, a mixture of amazing colors in the ocean. You could not peel your eyes away! 100% recommend.

The views from Mike & Melodee’s place are absolutely breath taking. We enjoyed watching the turtles ride the waves and walking down to Brennicke’s for a bite to eat & a cocktail. Hanging out at the pool & the beach also within walking distance where you may see turtles napping and or a seal. Perfect location, so close to shopping and all kinds of restaurants. We made breakfast every day at the condo, the kitchen has all you need to cook if you decide to do so. Highly recommend this beautiful condo!

You couldn't be any closer to the ocean without being in it! I'm a grown-up so I didn't spit from the balcony, but if I did I could have made it to the water.
Like others, we enjoyed watching the turtles from the balcony, listening to the waves crash (audible throughout the entire unit) and the short waterfront walk to Poipu Beach and Brennekes (sp?) restaurant and deli.
Personally, having two bedrooms a kitchen and everything that you don't get in a hotel is a no brainer.

We stayed nine nights here and the best part was seeing turtles just below us, spinner dolphins and humpback whales every day. The condo was well stocked and comfortable. The parking at the resort was very challenging; very tight spots and not reserved.

We loved staying here. To be completely honest, the unit is pretty small. We have two teenagers and the space definitely felt small at times. However, the size of the unit was worth it because of the location. We spent so much time out on the balcony, just watching the turtles in the cove down below, and we saw lots of whale spouts out on the ocean. Several small showers came through and there were always rainbows afterward. It was magical. The pool was nice and warm and we loved spending afternoons there, and we also loved walking to Brennecke's Beach and Poipu Beach every day, body surfing and seeing the turtles and seals on the beach.
The beds weren't the best, with pieces of foam on top of each of the mattresses, but the condo was very clean and cozy.
