Great location with lanai overlooking small neighborhood beach with easy access from the condo. Walkable to restaurants, stores, and downtown Kona. Comfortable furnishings, with rocking chairs on the lanai for enjoying the beach views. Would highly recommend to others looking for a comfortable, quiet, oceanfront location.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Kona Reef #B-15 during our most recent visit to the islands. From start to finish, communicating with owner, Georgina, was smooth and easy. Check-in and check-out process was simple and precise.
The unit itself is wonderful! Clean, with a nice lanai view of the beach/water. My favorite thing to do was make my coffee and sit out on the lanai to watch the sunrise, or make a cocktail in the evening to enjoy the sunset. A stocked kitchen was much appreciated, since we enjoy making many of our meals in. The pool and BBQ area are especially nice. We appreciated and used the washer/dryer a couple of times during our stay. AC and ceiling fans kept us cool. We traveled with our 5 year old daughter who slept on the sleeper sofa with no issue.
The location was mostly pros. Just a short 5-10 minute walk to downtown with lots of shops and restaurants, which you will appreciate once you see the traffic and parking situation. My only con about the location is that the Kona Reef is right next to a public beach, which a lot of homeless visit. We dealt with the occasional early morning ruckus/police response, smell of weed, and noticed a few homeless people wandering through the lanais of the lower units and peeking through sliding doors. We were on the second floor so we felt secure.
We would have liked a few more items stocked in the kitchen: coffee filters, plastic sandwich bags, and plastic cups to use at the pool.

Pictures don’t do this rental justice. The unit was clean, view of beach from lanai is closer than it appears in photos. There is beach accessibility right outside the unit. Parking is convenient, we didn’t have any issues. Walking distance to downtown shopping and restaurants.

We got so so spoiled listening to the waves , the sounds were so soothing! We sure needed that ! The location was close to town, and close to the beaches we love!!! Please stay there ! You will find your inner peace!

This was a great place to stay in Kona. Not only is there an ocean view, but an fantastic little beach from which to watch the sunset—and there are beach chairs, too! Fancy cocktails are only a five minute walk away.

Perfect condo with beach and ocean view off balcony. Could hear waves at night. Iron and ironing board could be updated hard to work with. Bring own seasonings, salt and pepper. Had a great trip!! Thank you

The are very few Sandy beaches in Kona and this condo has easy access to what felt like our own private beach. Every night we would make a drink and watch the sunset. Morning coffee listening to the ocean was priceless. The owner always replied within a few hours if I had any questions. Bed was very comfy. Had everything we needed.

The condo is perfectly located on the water and an easy walk to downtown Kona, where the restaurants and shops are abundant. The Kona Reef condos are older, but the complex has recently updated the pool and other amenities. This unit overlooks the beach and ocean to the southwest creating a beautiful view all day long. We had a couple of maintenance issues when we arrived, but the on-site management team responded and addressed those issues immediately. Couldn’t have been happier with the responsiveness of the owner and Management Company. While the condo is not newly remodeled, the bath and kitchen, including appliances were all very clean. Having a washing machine and dryer in the unit was a plus. The bed was comfortable and there are several fans to use for days when you don’t use the air-conditioning. Would stay here again.
