I have been coming here since 2006. I have always had a fantastic time! This location is amazing...so beautiful and peaceful! The staff is great. They are there if you need them, yet you feel like this place is your home!

We had stayed here before. The fires really changed the overall feeling of the area in a negative way. The grounds were nice but the pool was cold. The unit itself was oddly furnished with a small TV. All in all, just OK.

Hale Kai has a great atmosphere, many people know each other. So easy to meet others, not like a big resort. Prices are increasing, which is understandable. However, this is an older property and many units could use some internal updates. At the new price points, there are other accomodations nearby that are now very competitive. Still, the 'vibe' of the Hale Kai is what brings people back - and I'll be back next February.

Hale Kai is my go-to spot in Western Maui. We stayed in #205 this trip. Very clean second story unit facing park with ocean view. Kitchen was well stocked with lots of dishes, pots & pans. We do like to prepare our breakfast and lunch in unit and eat out for dinner. This unit had a loft with a super comfy king bed and small bathroom and downstairs with queen bed and another bathroom. Grounds were impeccable as usual. Pool was spotless and lots of lounge chairs. We enjoyed visiting with past guests and made new friends. Melody in the office is wonderful and very helpful. Neighborhood is great for walking and lots of small local restaurants! We will be returning next year!

This condo was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The unit overlooked the park and ocean . It was lovely to fall asleep to the roar of the ocean and wake up to the birdsongs. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and watching the humpback migration.

We had a wonderful time staying at Hale Kai #205. We really enjoyed the location, ocean views from the lanai, and close proximity to the pool. The unit was wonderfully equipped to accommodate our 12 day stay. Valerie in the office was great to deal with and answer any questions. Everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming.

Experience was incredible. On a medical conference hotel was much more expensive this place was just perfect. Few feet from the beach. Relaxation. Locals were very kind walking distance from the farmers market. This place was very clean. All amenities needed. Only thing missing was a air conditioner but it was cool enough to have windows and doors open.
