Kamaole Sands is 15 acres of tropical grounds with amenities such as tennis courts, an expansive pool area with wading pool, two spas, exercise facility, BBQ with outdoor dining area, and parking. Kamaole Sands Resort is located in South Maui in a town called Kihei across the street from Kamaole III Beach, a nice beach for swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing, and spotting sea turtles! It is close to many shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. Located in South Kihei, this resort is close to many of Maui's top 10 beaches, such as Wailea Beach and Makena Beach.
*** Ongoing construction will be active at Kamaole Sands until December 2025. This includes work on waste water pipes, replacement of PVC pipes within bathroom and kitchen walls, and roof replacements. Throughout this period, there might be noise due to construction activities, and parking availability could be limited. During the roof and pipe project, large sections of the parking lot will need to be closed to accommodate work crews, equipment, and material staging. Closed sections will be marked and notices posted. To minimize parking problems, the property will temporarily suspend all deeded parking and will implement an open parking policy. All vehicles must be registered and display a parking permit. Any cars parked in these colored areas that are preventing the contractors from staging their materials are subject to Tow at the guest's expense. ***

This place was perfect .. great location, well supplied kitchen as well as beach and pool items. All we had to do was shop for our food and that was easy with several store options.
Would come again in a heart beat and rent the same location.

The unit appears to have been remodeled recently. Firm mattress, newer furniture with updated baths and kitchen makes for wonderful experience on the ground floor of a 3-story condo complex. The presence of maintenance people by day and security at night kept any element of riff-raff (or homeless) away for a safe experience for kids and adults alike.

The condo was well stocked with beach accessories and cooking/eating items. Nice decor and the patio area was shaded with a nice view of the gardens. Easy walking distance to beach access and restaurants!
My only draw backs: the resort not offering to store bags upon arrival- with an early morning arrival time and check in not until 4 it was difficult to keep occupied (and cool) prior to check in. We also had issues getting the TV's to work properly and finally had to have maintenance come out (which was about a 4 hour window).

Beautiful grounds, this condo was fully stocked with all that is needed for a stay. It was very apparent that the owners took pride in this condo and wanted to make sure guests had what they needed for a great vacation. Perfect for us!

This was a quick five-day stay for us, but the unit was perfect - very well appointed with all things beach and kitchen that we could need. We loved having the two bathrooms. We also ended up really liking that the pool was so close, but not so close that it was noisy. A quick walk across the street to Kam III beach park for sunset with the cooler made for a great way to end the day! We will be back!

I gave it 3 stars because we have stayed at Kamole sands three times in different condos and this one was the worst stocked place. We ran out of toilet paper shampoo lotion. All the others had basic supplies like paper plates spices coffee creamers plastic silverware for the beach. Foil ziplock bags. This condo had nothing. Wouldn't recommend it for that reason

We had a lovely stay at this condo. Everything was very clean as expected. The only minor complaints I have are the shower in the bedroom bathroom is very difficult to keep water inside the shower as there is no door from the shower to the bathroom. It's left open by design, but it's practically impossible to keep water from spraying everywhere outside the shower, especially with kids. Also, the bedroom had a very "musky" smell the whole time. Possibly due to the cleaning tools left in the clothing closet, which I also found to be odd. Maybe if those items were kept in another closet meant for cleaning products/items, the smell wouldn't have been there. Otherwise, we had a lovely stay!

The condo was very comfortable and was located in an ideal spot on the property, with a walk-out deck that was close to the pool. Our communications with My Perfect Stays were professional, and the door code was a great feature that avoids the need for carrying physical keys around. More generally, we have always like Kamaole Sands as a great choice within Kihei.
