The new modern full kitchen has brand new custom wood cabinets, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and actually, has a dishwasher which most new units do not have. The luxury bathroom is all travertine with a travertine walk-in shower, wood cabinets, and is modern in decor, welcoming you to Hawaii. Recently kitchenware items have been updated: 6 new wineglasses, Masterchef knife set, new Cuisinart pots and pans, cooking tools, etc.
Of course, the best part is the large 120sf lanai that has some of the best views in Hawaii.

1. Valet parking is available 24/7 and is $45 per night plus tip with in/out privileges. Please check the rate on arrival. No reservations are needed. Just arrive anytime, and valet staff will be on duty.
2. Behind the Ilikai building there are lots of public parking spaces, some free and some paid. The free spaces close at 10:30 pm so you have to move your car before then. The paid parking spaces go for $1/hr and do not close at a certain time so they can be used for overnight parking. You can pay with cash or card, just go to the parking machine and enter your license plate plus the number of hours, which will print out a ticket to put on your dashboard....

I traveled to Honolulu with my two adult daughters and needed to be close to the Hilton Hawaiian Village for a conference. This spot was perfect! The views were amazing! Unobstructed sunsets every night, marina and ocean views to wake up to. The balcony was the star of the show. We chose this unit because it had two double beds and a futon style couch - so no one had to share. The beds were comfy, the couch was not as comfy as a regular bed, but not uncomfortable either. The unit was stocked with everything we needed and was nice and clean. We used the self parking located behind the building at $1/hr. We always managed to find a decent spot. Great ice cream and coffee shops in the lobby. I would rent this VRBO again for sure! The location and direction the unit faced just could not be beat. Thank you so much for a great stay!

The property was the perfect size for us! We had a group of 5 and felt that there was more than enough space for us and our luggage for the week. It's also very well located with bus stops and ABC stores within walking distance. At one point during our stay, three of the elevators were broken so it was in our favor to plan ahead when coming and going from the room when we were on a time crunch, but they were quickly fixed by the next day. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend staying here!

We've stayed in different units in the Ilika over the last 10 years when we've participated in the Honolulu marathon. The location is great, easy walk to the center of Waikiki, beach access is good, and it is pretty close to the start of the marathon that we participate in.
The view from the unit is very nice, the marina and the ocean and sunset all from the lanai.
We really just had an issue at the end with communication. I sent an e-mail to the contact person regarding a possible late checkout and never heard back until we had actually checked ou. And, we were surprised with a visit at 1000am the morning of our departure from the manager who just unlocked the door and walked in. She thought the unit was empty, and didn't believe me until she called her office, remaining in the unit the entire time, while my friend was "stuck" in the bathroom. When that was resolved, there was a cursory, "sorry" and off she went. New experience for us.

It was a great experience to stay at this condo. Great communicatios with a owner, clean room, good enough space for family of 5. The best part is location and view from the condo. I wo definitely recommend to anyone.
