Absolute oceanfront with views of Molokini, Lanai, and Kahoolawe spread out in front of you. The beautifully landscaped grounds have abundant variety of native flowers and plants that will enhance your total island experience. Sunsets are absolutely incredible from your private lanai, and no two are are the same.
This 1 bedroom 1 bath is newly remodeled, bright, breezy and open with air conditioning for those hotter days. The bedroom has a new king size bed with crisp white linens, full sized dresser, lots of closet space, alarm clock and smart T.V.
I have stocked the condo with everything you would need to make your stay enjoyable from the moment you arrive. The kitchen has all the convivences of home with plates, utensils, glassware, cooking supplies, coffee maker, toaster and blender. The full bathroom is stocked with fresh clean towels and a private washer/dryer stack. Beach gear kit is available for your use with beach chairs, beach towels and soft beach cooler.
The property features an immaculately kept lawn area, shuffleboard and oceanfront swimming pool with BBQ and dining area. Menehune Shores also has a unique rooftop BBQ/ dining area with views of Haleakala, Pacific Ocean and the West Maui Mountains.
Right next door, a few steps away is the historic Kalepolepo Fishpond with swimming beach and quiet surf.
Being on the quiet end of Kihei, its a 5 minute drive to the 3 famous Kam beaches of Maui, shopping and amazing dining/entertainment. Book an exciting Luau in Wailea or listen to live jazz down at Ohana or Nalu's . The Maui Moon is close to grocery stores, salons, banks/ATM machines, and gyms.
Kihei is conveniently located to jump on the Piilani Highway to venture out to other towns on this incredible island. Head up to Kaanapali or Upcountry to explore, or rent some snorkel gear and bring a towel to see where the day takes you.

Well-appointed and the view was very nice. I guess my expectation with the price of the unit was of a newly updated unit, but it was somewhat less than that. In all fairness that could be the going rate I have been coming to the Islands for 35 years and have not seen prices, on everything, this high!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for our 25th anniversary. A minor issue with the toilet was repaired quickly and with minimal interruption of our visit. Everything we needed from beach gear, cooler for road to Hana, and cookware was available. Looking at the photos when we were booking, I couldn't help but wonder if the exterior images had been photoshopped in, but they definitely weren't! Our first few days, the mountain was cloud covered but it cleared and was absolutely gorgeous! If you want to observe sea turtles, make sure you wear water shoes and venture out toward the rock barrier, they rest there frequently. My only (insignificant) complaint was that the evening sun which created the beautiful sunsets did heat up the condo quite a bit. Thicker curtains would've been nice to keep it cooler, especially when we weren't there and enjoying the view. The lanai did look like it had an apparatus that may lower to block, but we didn't notice that til our last evening so we didn't check with the owner to see if/how it worked. Highly recommend this unit and responsive owner.

The Maui Moon Oceanfront Condo is a very lovely condo and was just as pictured. The location was great. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the lanai in the evenings. Absolutely beautiful view!! The condo is stocked with most everything a person could want. We would definitely return to this condo if we are lucky enough to make it back to Maui.

Our favorite unit at this property, and we’ve stayed in several. Updated, the view is fantastic and the owner is extremely responsive and welcoming. We hope to stay here again. Only issue is that time seems to go faster on Maui.

Maui Moon is one of the best condos in the building. It directly faces the ocean, and the views are beautiful. We saw lots of distant whale action, as well as plenty of large turtles on the break wall in front of the building. We had a perfect view of the sunsets.
There is ample filtered water available in the lobby, a great convenience for when you’re hitting the beach or heading out for the day. There is a long stretch of beach in front, which is never crowded (at least when we were there), and a safe area to swim. There are several barbecues and on the rare occasion that they were all in use, people readily shared. The condo
Itself is well stocked with cookware. Like most places we’ve stayed in Maui, a car is a necessity. Groceries and restaurants are a short drive away.
I will add my kudos to Pam, who was right on it when an issue with the wifi arose (the service provider changed the equipment and password without informing her). She ensured the problem was corrected and kept us informed every step of the way. It was a pleasure staying at Maui Moon.

Beautiful property, amazing view, comfortable bed, loved having a washer and dryer. Super easy check in, owner was responsive. Only negatives were there was only one crusty frying pan. We made breakfast most mornings and it didn't work well. Water pressure in shower was weak. Loved the location. Would highly recommend.

We loved this unit I was hesitant to stay in Kihei as it feels like a city and not remote like west Maui where I have gone for 30yrs. We decided due to fires to try this location. This condo was the best trip we have had. Owner has it stocked with everything you need to enjoy the beach chairs, umbrella, noodles,beach towels, coolers. The unit is ocean front with view of the huge turtles all day laying on the rocks in from. Now to the ocean access right outside the unit is a lagoon with sand bottom and easy for anyone to enjoy the water. There is an Indian restaurant downstairs that was wonderful as well.

When we walked into the condo, all we saw was the gorgeous ocean view! We sat on the balcony several times during the week and just enjoyed the ocean, the islands, and the rainbows. I especially liked that it had a pool and a beach. We used both. The condo is well-equipped with beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and cooler with refreezable ice packs. The condo was conveniently located to explore the islands. 15 -30 most places. Maybe 45 to the Lahaina area. And lastly, the turtles! The beach is beside a marine science place. They’ve built a jetty and the large turtles come in to rest. You have to stay outside the posts and 10 feet away, but you can definitely see them as they sleep on the rocks!
