Overall the property grounds are very well taken care of, pool/jacuzzi was clean and very relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay, the private feel of the balcony was a great plus! I recommend this unit for families of 4.

This VRBO was a good basic stay. It could use some updates but was comfortable and clean. The entrance was close to parking but in the area furthest from the beach. It was easy to walk to nearby food and Kam beaches or drive to other areas. We appreciated the boogie boards and beach chairs.

We so very much enjoyed our 2 week stay in Kihei Alii Kai. The condo itself was vey spacious, especially the lanai. The view was nice and we watched whales most every day. Access from the parking lot to the condo was very convenient. Everything was as described. We would definitely stay here again. Owners were very accommodating and responded very quickly to any questions we had.

My sister and I stayed for 5 weeks in this condo. The condo was perfect for a restful and relaxing holiday, close to the shops and the beach. It was well set up, nicely decorated, comfortable beds with all the amenities of home. The lanai is spacious with a great view of the ocean to watch the whales. The green space next door is a bonus. Mick and his wife were very pleasant to communicate with and very helpful. The late checkout was very much appreciated. We would stay in this condo again anytime. Thanks for your hospitality. Leah

Condo is walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Owner Mick provided quick response with our questions. Having a laundry in the unit is big plus. As a matter of preference, we slept in the living room instead of the bedroom (we find the room a bit dark).

Me and my 12 year old son had a fabulous time in Maui. Our location and accommodations allowed us to find everything we could ever want in a vacation. The amenities were excellent and the proximity to the beach, restaurants and activities was PERFECT! The hosts are awesome in their communication and very accommodating. I have already recommended the property to some friends who are looking to book within the year. I will definitely be back!

We loved staying in this condo in Kihei. It was the perfect location to walk to the beach and the restaurants. The sunsets were incredible. The patio was so nice and relaxing. It never had any direct sunlight so we could sit out there anytime of day and be comfortable. We had breakfast and lunches there but ate dinner out so didn’t use the stove or pots and pans much, but they were there if we needed them. The hikes weren’t too far and the pictures will be on our walls forever. The condo stayed cool so didn’t even use the air conditioner much. It was the best Honeymoon ever!! Thank you Mick and Toko for sharing your lovely place with us!

This was our first experience with VRBO and also our first trip to Maui, and it all went so well. Mick and Toko were very friendly and responsive, and made the whole process easy. All we needed to do was bring our suitcases of clothes/toiletries, and a fresh load of groceries and we were all set! The unit was close to parking, garbages and recycling, and a fresh water rinse station which were all handy (but not too close to be noisey). We felt safe and comfortable in this unit the whole time, and the lanai is nice and private with a decent view (our preferred place to eat breakfast/supper while bird watching). There are also very clean barbeques by the pool/jacuzzi area which is only a short walk away in the middle of the complex. The unit itself was clean and had everything we needed to act as a home away from home, and as a home base to explore Maui from. The air conditioning also worked very quickly and effectively when we needed to cool off. We felt Kehei was a great central-ish location for exploration, and on days when we wanted to take it easy, we could explore kehei on foot quite easily as well. The unit had some boogie boards, beach chairs, a mat and umbrella we were able to easily haul to the beach by foot, and saved us the hastle/cost of rentals so they were much appreciated! We would absolutely stay here again, and recommend this place to friends and family!

Thank you so much for sharing your little piece of paradise with us. It was perfect for our family. Great location. And a beautiful view. We spent little time in the actual condo. As we were out exploring and making the most of our time there. But we certainly enjoyed the extra amenities provided like beach chairs and towels. Mahalo
