Perfect view of ocean. The condo is right on the beach. The condo was clean, well stocked, & comfortable.
Of no fault of the condo, but worth noting: the community jacuzzi did not work for most of the trip & there are tons of mosquitoes.
We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend this condo. It was a peaceful stay right on a quiet, lovely beach. I miss it already!

This oceanfront condo has a beautiful view, is well maintained and has everything you need for a great stay. We appreciated all the posted instructions on how to access and utilize the lights/appliances. The property location is within a 10 minute car ride to multiple restaurants and stores.

What an amazing view. Clean condo. Perfect location away from all the traffic....but only 5 minutes away on the highway from all restaurants and stores. Definitely would stay here again. The only thing that could be improved on is the hot tub wasn't working most days. Not Chris' fault. Wonderful stay.

The condo was lovely and well-stocked. It had a good sized balcony right on the water, which was our main goal. It's in a quiet area. It's within walking distance of a restaurant, a great bakery, a farmers market, an ABC store, and a shaved ice shop. It's about 4 miles from the main shopping/restaurant area. We were fine with that, we were looking for calm and quiet. The pool is very nice, though the shade is limited. The beach is also nice and swimmable. It's a wonderful place a short drive away from the more chaotic downtown area. The owner was very nice and worked with us on check-in/out times.
We would definitely recommend this condo.

When we first arrived there were a ton of dead gnats in the property and it smelled like insecticide. We swept them up but continued to have a gnat issue the whole time on property. Other than the gnats all was well. Lovely unit.

Everything from renting the condo to the check-in and checkout process went very smoothly. The location of the unit was perfect and everything that was expected. Love sitting on the lanai with binoculars watching the whales. Property was well-maintained along with everything in the condo that you would need for a vacation week. I was also pleasantly surprised how comfortable the pull out sofa bed was.
We really enjoyed ourselves for the week and we definitely would rent the condo from Chris again. He was very informative and communicatedIn a timely manner.
Chris really made this a home away from home!

Sugar Beach Resort is a great location with less traffic than the rest of western Maui, and with great ocean-front condos. Ours was well-appointed and equipped, especially the kitchen.

This condo had everything we needed. The beachfront property and ocean view were wonderful. The sandy beach right out front was large and not busy. We did experience trouble with the washing machine and Chris had a plumber there the next day. Unfortunately, it was a new washer and a warrantly issue not a plumber issue. The location is close to stores and restaurants as well as a great base location for exploring the island. We would definitely stay here again.
