NOT PROVIDED: Housekeeping Service, additional bathroom toiletry, Condiments/spices, coffee, detergent, beach chairs/umbrellas/toys, cooler, or baby equipment.

This particular unit has little to no sun because of large buildings surrounding it. No grab bars in bath tub. Toilet very low so not good for older renters. 95% who live here are older and old. Noisy because of street traffic and early morning patio/pool cleaning. Kitchen small wares need replacing.

I checked in at 3pm, condo were still messy from previous guests, I called to let them know, then left for their cleaning, came back at 7:15pm, no one came to clean yet, I called again and a lade came at 8:20pm for quick cleaning, 9:30pm room were clean with a few clean towels left and 1 beach towel in bath room, the bed wasn't done with the right sheets cover.... it's horrible !!!Also a parking spot was not convenience for a person who have knee problem like me !However, thank you for offering to refund the amount of cleaning charged for me, I hope this inconvenience won't happen again for next guests.

First, they hadn't cleaned the apartment after the previous guest, and our first impression was very bad. We left the house, and they came to clean it, which took around 2hrs. After that, we washed every sheet and towel again before using them. Worse than that, the apartment has a lot of cockroaches. Even one night, one of them was on my arm in the bed. We stayed there for 7 nights, and after each night, the number of them increased. I heard that finding cockroaches in Hawaii is normal due to the weather, but this apartment really needs a pesticide.

We had an absolutely fantastic 9 day stay in April this apartment, with no issues.
To address some previous reviews: The apartment was extremely clean, and well stocked with towels and sheets, clear instructions for everything and great, fast communication from the host.
- Over our 9 days, we did not once see any roaches.
- There were no noise issues, with residents or dogs
- The residents were all friendly, there lots of guests too.
- The building is part of the resort area, where short-term stays are permitted, the hotel reception also said around 50% of the building is short-term stays.
- Reception staff were fantastic and also made the stay great.
- Parking is easy and free, with plenty of space for all sizes of cars. Just for context, all hotels, even the small, not great ones, charge $40-60 per day for parking and is more often than not valet.
- The sofa was new and extremely comfortable. It is not the grey one in the photos that people have mentioned, but a new, dark brown leather sofa which folds down into a bed.
Having stayed in many different apartments and hotels in Waikiki over the years, this is a fantastic, modern, brilliantly located apartment and we will definitely stay there again in the future.

I've stayed in the Four Paddle before -- location is great, walking distance to the fun stuff in Waikiki but far enough that it isn't crazy around the building and access to bus lines is convenient. Also picked this building again because I knew the parking situation was good.
Lots of sheets and towels provided. The room always felt kind of humid and sticky, even with the AC on, so I ended up going through most of them in a week. They provide beach chairs that look new but I didn't use them. Washer and dryer work well.
Woman across the hall from this unit has a small dog that barks constantly when left alone. At one point I saw a note on her door that read, "Your dog is at it again." Dog is friendly if you see it but I guess has separation anxiety.
I feel bad giving only 3 stars for cleanliness because I know roaches are impossible to deal with, even in an otherwise clean unit. The ones I saw were tiny, usually dead or dying, and probably coming another unit on the same floor. Never saw any in the cabinets or on cutlery or anything like that, but it was still gross to find 3 - 4 new roaches every morning on the kitchen floor. I washed whatever I wanted to use before using and let everything dry in the sealed dishwasher, and put all my food in the fridge; did not bother using any of the kitchen appliances since I didn't want to clean everything. I put out a roach trap and didn't find any more on the floor every day.
