Wake up to the sounds of the ocean surf from this fabulous oceanfront home. Located in Alii Point, a lush and tropical private community of 16 homes. Just two miles south of historic Kailua-Kona, you can walk to breakfast or ride a bike.
This beautifully decorated home has a large open floor plan with huge sliding doors opening up to ocean and coastline views. Facing south, there is large shaded lanai set up for outdoor dining with spectacular ocean views and there is a 35' private swimming pool.
The home is very private with tall lava rock walls and beautiful gardens and a grassy yard at the waters edge. The location is amazing in this lush and tropical private community of 16 homes. Located two miles south of historic Kailua-Kona, you can walk or bike ride to breakfast and enjoy Kona Town with many excellent restaurants and shops and come back to the house and enjoy swimming, snorkeling and surfing right out the back door. We are also very close to white sands beach.
The floor plan offers one bedroom and bath on each level. The top level is separated from the main house via an exterior stairway and private entrance. Upstairs is a nice ocean view bedroom, with lanai patio, queen size bed, private bathroom with large shower and two double sinks, and walk in closet. New high def TV's are in each bedroom as well as Blue Ray DVD players and an extensive DVD library.
Main floor hosts the Great Room including kitchen with new dishwasher, dining area for 8 and lanai for outdoor dining. There is a guest bedroom on this level with two queen-sized beds, a large flat screen TV and separate guest bath. There are ceiling fans in all bedrooms and AC throughout the house.
Bottom floor, just off the pool is the large master bedroom with a huge, cedar walk-in closet, and large en suite bathroom. Master bedroom has a king-sized bed, new flat screen TV and AC. Private bathroom has a bidet, Jacuzzi tub and large shower with private door to pool and ocean.
Separated from the main house is a 4th bedroom connected to the garage with a queen-sized bed and window unit AC to keep things cool.
In addition, this home comes with all you'll need to stay active while you're here. Included are surfboard, boogie boards, snorkel, fins and masks, beach pads, tennis rackets, beach chairs, umbrellas, cold drink coolers, air mattress, pack & play, and new BBQ grill.
The Alii Point community of luxury residences is a tropical paradise that includes a botanical garden with beach access and features both a community lap pool and a tennis court. It was our 50th, so we took our Son, Daughter in Law and granddaughter. I knew they would love the pool and the beautiful ocean view. It was such a peaceful experience to have our dinners on the outdoor patio listening to the surf and watching the surfers each morning while we had breakfast. We've been to the islands several times, but the Big Island was new to us.

Our family had a wonderful celebration together! Property listing & pictures depicting the home as Luxurious might have been accurate years ago, but is now in need of upgrading both inside & outside. The managing company has a fairly accurate list of items that truly need attention. To their credit, they also responded quickly to a few areas that needed immediate attention. We have stayed in many rental properties & was very surprised at the "lack of Luxurious" right down to the lack of newer towels, exterior lounge chairs, furniture upholstery. along with the Welcome gift of just a small can of macadamia nuts was a huge tell that this once Luxurious property is in much need of TLC. But, again the View was truly amazing & we made some awesome memories for a lifetime there!

This house was great for our family of five adults. We had plenty of room to spread out when we wanted space but the communal areas were setup for the times we wanted to be together. The view was spectacular and we appreciated that the location wasn't far from a variety of local restaurants.

We had a great time at this property! It was stocked with beach equipment that was very useful for us. The space was perfect for my husband and I with 6 kids. The house was a good location, we were able to walk to a few places including a little convenience store and a local market for trinkets and shaved ice.

We instantly fell in love with the spaciousness and view! The host provided a great supply (in quality and quantity) of everything a traveler may need on a trip. We were a party of 8 and appreciated the large quantity of dinnerware, flatware, cookware, pool toys, seating and dining areas, and bath and pool towels. The host was happy to provide additional supplies upon request. The gated community is quiet and safe. If you walk down to the end of the cul-de-sac at sunset, you're in for a gorgeous view. Highly recommend this property!
