Aloha & Welcome to our South Kihei penthouse condo!
This spacious 2 Bedroom ocean view unit is located on the top floor of the B building in the Kihei Ali'i Kai complex. The unit is walking distance to many fantastic shops, restaurants and other amenities. Kamaole 1 beach park is a short 2 min walk away! The unit is conveniently located; a short drive will take you to some of the islands most popular attractions!
The condo is approx 900 sqft & comfortably sleeps 4, with a king-size bed in the upstairs loft bedroom and a queen size in the downstairs bedroom. Both beds have deluxe mattress toppers as well!
The condo is also equipped with high speed internet and cable TV.
Since the unit is ocean facing, it benefits from the trade winds to help keep the condo cool, along with brand new UV blocking window tint! Air conditioning units in the condo along with ceiling fans help to keep the condo temperature comfortable when the trade winds aren't blowing.
For the foodies, the kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and utensils should you want to make a fantastic meal of your own rather than eating out. Grab your favorite ingredients from the grocery downstairs or the farmers market up the street!
The large lanai is big enough to fit the whole group to enjoy a meal outdoors or to relax after a day at the beach. Both the ocean and Haleakala are visible from the lanai as well! Sit and watch the beautiful, ever changing Maui sunset all year round! During the winter months, you can even catch a view of humpback whales! You can also do a fair amount of stargazing at night right from the lanai!
The condo also comes fully equipped with beach towels, chairs & various beach gear to enjoy your time spent at the beach.
Pack light and take advantage of the state of the art washer/dryer!
Basic "Aloha" starter pack also provided! For example: Starter pack of Toilet paper, Paper Towels & Soaps.
Other amenities provided at the complex are a large pool, hot tub, sauna, 2 BBQ areas and covered parking .
Our Condo is within walking distance to many shops and many wonderful restaurants. We provide a list of our favorite places along with contact info, as well as our favorite places to go and things to do!
If you are looking to golf, some of the best courses on Maui are located close by in Wailea and Makena. If high end shopping is more your style, The Shops of Wailea features more than 70 shops, restaurants, and art galleries.
The condo is so well located you can choose to forgo a rental car and still have a wonderful vacation all within walking distance! Bus stops also run across the street. Or if you want to explore the island and find some adventure, you are a 1.5 hour drive to the summit of Haleakala, a 20-30 minute drive will get you to the lava fields! 45 minutes away from "Jaws" and Ho'okipa where you can see some of Mauis best surfers(and some kooks too!)The Road to Hana also offers many sights and roadside shops. Pick a direction and go, you will find a good time!...

Really enjoyed the place, location was a block from the beach and right above some good food and groceries. Place gets hot quick but some open windows or AC help a lot.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Jones’s penthouse condo in Maui. Beautiful views of the ocean and Haleakala, which we enjoyed nightly on the lanai. Great location close to the Kam II beach, restaurants and shopping. The activity binder was most helpful to plan adventures. Condo was spacious, comfortable, very clean and well organized with all the basic amenities available. Including beach chairs and a cooler for those amazing Maui sunsets. Nice pool and jacuzzi as well. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice place to stay for your Maui vacation.

Our stay at Josh and Christi's condo was wonderful! The location is absolutely perfect, close to shops, restaurants and a two minute walk from the beach. The condo is stocked we all the essentials and the beach gear made our frequent trips to the beach so easy. That was a wonderful added bonus! Coffee on the lenei in the morning and wine out there is the evening rounded out days out perfectly. The views of the ocean are even better than pictured. Josh and Christi's condo has a binder filled with recommendations from them and their guests and it came in very handy. We honestly can't say enough great things about this spot. We most certainly will be back! Mahalo Josh and Christi for your wonderful hospitality.

This was the second time in a row that we stayed at this rental in Maui. It's fantastic and we can't wait to come back again. The hosts are great. The place has an awesome location and and we loved sitting on the balcony in the morning to watch the birds and at night to see the stars. We even saw a few humpback whales from the balcony with our binoculars. This place brings us a lot of peace and we will be back again.

Wonderful and perfect location! Beaches are across the street and easily walked over anytime we wanted! Shops, restaurants, and grocery are all walking distance from the condo. Enjoyed daily sunsets, bakery and gelato nearby, lanai was great for morning coffee, relaxing, and star gazing! Condo is very clean, quiet, with lots of room to relax. We are ready to go back!

We had a great time. Josh and Christi were so helpful in planning and very accommodating to our needs. They gave great recommendations for restaurants, whale tour, Nat'l Park and how to get around. The beach is literally 150 steps from the lower parking area where we parked.
Many (many) whales were visible from the beach and even off of the condo deck! The location in Kihei is Super awesome! Very central! The condo was great and we'd stay again with Josh and Christi! A+++++

The VRBO property description is accurate and communications with owners were timely and helpful. We've stayed in many condo rentals during our travels. We felt this one was one of the best in our experience; location, amenities, comfort, and communications were excellent.
