I-3 is a spacious open oceanfront studio recently renovated in winter, 2018. With high ceilings and a wall of doors open to the screened lanai, you can relax and enjoy the sounds of the waves and a view of the beach. There is a fully equipped fully remodeled kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances, cabinets, including a washer and dryer within the unit. The condo is freshly painted and nicely furnished with dining table, living room seating area and a brand new (2021) KING size bed. Paniolo Hale has a pool & BBQ's scattered around the property. I-3 is just steps to Kepuhi Beach. It is just a short walk to Make Horse Beach. Nearby is Papohaku Beach, the longest white sand beach on Molokai, where sometimes the only people on the beach are you.
Molokai is known as 'The Friendly Isle.' It is also considered the most Hawaiian island. Like stepping back in time 50 years, you won't find traffic lights, elevators, malls, glitz, or night life. If you're looking for rural place for relaxation, snorkeling, beautiful ocean views, quiet beaches, and old Hawaii, you'll find it on Molokai. Some say 'only on Molokai', we say 'always on Molokai' Come find out why.
Molokai is the smallest of the main Hawaiian chain; 38 miles long and only 10 to 15 miles wide. Its west side is arid and dry. Beaches in the winter are great for surfing, and occasionally for swimming. In the summer the beaches are calm for snorkeling and swimming. The East End is more lush and tropical with miles of barrier reef in front.
Molokai's North side is famous for having the world's highest sea cliffs which rise some 3000 feet out of the ocean. The 2774-acre Kamakou Forest Preserve on Molokai overlooks these sea cliffs, and is home to endangered birds and over 200 Hawaiian plants that grow only in this preserve.
Molokai South side is where you will find our main town, Kaunakakai, with art shops, two full service grocery markets, an ice cream shop, a bakery, and a fine wine and cheese shop. You'll also find limited shopping in the villages of Kualapu'u and Maunaloa.

We just spent a fabulous month in Trisha's unit and can't say enough about how special our time was there. The photos of the condo are accurate but can't begin to capture the nurturing comfort and tranquility of being there in the balmy warmth, complete with tropical aromas and of course the hypnotizing sounds of the surf just steps away from the unit. We found ourself somewhat torn each evening about whether to watch the sunset from the beach or from the privacy of our own delightful lanai - such a hardship! Fabulous beaches all around, some easily accessible and in plain sight, others requiring a bit of work to find and access, but all marvellous. The condo is tasteful and comfortable, and Trisha is clearly interested in ensuring that you have a memorable stay.

All of the reviews are accurate! The view is amazing! All of the beaches are beautiful and uncrowded! Listening to the axis deer at night along with the ocean waves was so relaxing. The place has everything you need and Pauline had it cleaned to perfection upon our arrival. Great communication with the owner! What is not to love!!!

Loved this stay! Having lived at Paniolo Hale many years ago, it was nice to return and the unit was perfect for us. Molokai's quietness and community will alway be special! Not for everyone or anyone seeking a Hawaii resort experience, but for me, it brought back many memories and remains an island untouched by major change and tourism.

This is a very spacious studio for a couple. Everything is provided for your comfort. Up front on the property so there’s a wonderful view from your screened in lanai. A place where you’ll want to return.

What a great location and size for this rental! Walks on the beach, seeing the whales breech from the lani- almost daily! So much to do and see and yet relaxing. Could do it again easily! Would love to be a repeat customer in this location. Anything and everything you need in the condo was there. We love to cook and found all necessities and more meaning found misc spices and condiment that if you buy personal items while you are there you can leave for the next guest to enjoy to help cooking.Plan on cooking at home Sunday and limited dinner possibilities on Monday too. The main grocery in town was well stocked.

We’ve stayed at other properties on Molokai and this is definitely our favorite! The view and proximity to the beach is spectacular and the unit is super well equipped. We spent most of our time hanging out on the lanai, reading and watching the surfers, and ventured out to say hi to the sleeping monkseals and swim in the pool, trading the ocean waves for bird sounds.

We spent 11 nights at this lovely property. It was probably the nicest place we have ever rented, and we have stayed in some excellent places. What made it so nice is that even though it is on the small side, it's very well designed, with very high ceilings and large windows, so it feels much bigger than it is. We would definitely stay there again.

We loved to the beautiful ocean views, and the extensive property for taking long walks. Being close enough to see surfers from our lanai was so fun, and loved the peaceful feeling of listening to the waves at night.
We cooked all of our dinners in our studio's kitchen, and found it to have all needed cookware, dishes, appliances, etc. The full size washing machine and dryer were a great help, as able to keep our luggage light for the trip.
Comfortable king size bed, lots of areas to sit comfortably and a nicely appointed bathroom with large shower.
A very short walk to the parking lot, and also to the
beach. The grounds have many varieties of plants, trees and flowers, and wildlife. Watching the wild turkeys roam the property was delightful.
Hope to return for a visit again someday!

Our 6 days at Panholo Hale I-3 was awesome. With an overlooking lanai to the ocean we viewed nightly sunsets from the comfortable rocking chairs. Awakening to the sound of the ocean through the open french doors each morning was luxury.
The condo was aptly equipped, very clean and communications with Scott were superb. We couldn't ask for more. If you are looking for rest and relaxation, we highly recommend this spot on Molokai.

The listing is accurate and was just as beautiful as the pictures. Molokai is a small Island with very little shopping and points of interest but if that's what your looking for it is perfect as we totally enjoyed our 2 weeks here. We are not hikers but there are a lot of trails here and very nice beaches of which most of the time we were the only ones on the beach. For us at 70+ it was a 5 star

The view is stunning! The unit is very clean and stocked with what you would need. All of the fans were a lifesaver as it is definitely warm. We kept the doors open on the lanai the whole time, which granted us beautiful views to wake up to. I highly recommend this property!
