Located seaside on Kauai’s beautiful North Shore, Alii Kai 4303 is a comfortable, top floor retreat with incredible ocean views from every room! It’s a whale watcher’s dream come true.
When stepping into this spacious two bedroom unit, the first thing you’ll encounter is the bright and open living space that looks right out over the ocean. Alii Kai 4303 features a full kitchen, beautifully remodeled and stocked with any cookware you may need if you’ll be preparing meals at home. There’s a washer and dryer, dining area for four, and a cozy living room complete with cable TV for your entertainment. Just off the living room is the private lanai that looks straight out over the bluffs to the ocean. In the winter time you’ll have incredible views of whales and their calves just off the coast!
Down the hallway are two comfortably furnished bedrooms. The master suite offers a king sized bed, en suite bathroom with walk-in shower, and a well lit desk that can be used as either a vanity space or home office depending on your needs. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen sized bed, with a full bathroom just across the hall. Both bedrooms share the same incredible ocean views as the living room and lanai.
The Alii Kai complex amenities include a pool, a gas grill for guests to enjoy at their leisure, as well as free parking. Location-wise you’re a mere mile from shopping and dining options in the Princeville shopping center, and a quick 10 minute drive from the heart of charming Hanalei. World class beaches such as Anini beach and Tunnels beach are conveniently close. For your beach outings, you’ll find beach towels, beach chairs, and boogie boards provided in the unit.
As with most homes on Kauai, this vacation rental is NOT air conditioned, though there are fans in each room and screen doors on the lanai to help with air flow.
This is an upstairs condo so you need to be able to go up and down stairs. There are no elevators.
Although this home has internet, the speed and reliability cannot be guaranteed due to the remote location and the service being provided by a third-party.

If you are looking for a convenient location to Princeville and the North Shore with amazing ocean views from one side of the condo and amazing mountain views on the other, this is where you should stay. We had 4 adults (2 couples), the 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms worked out perfectly. The kitchen was large enough for us all to move in and out without getting in each other's way. And again, as mentioned - the views are to die for.

We were upgraded to this property after the one we reserved had a leaky roof. The views are amazing. We were disappointed that there wasn't any AC, but the ocean breeze did a pretty good job keeping us cool. Although, I did wake up hot once in a while. The king-sized mattress in the primary suite was a little too firm for my taste. I asked the property managers if they had a mattress topper, or something, because it was causing me back and neck pain, but I never heard back from them. I ended up sleeping on the couch or in the spare room with my daughter. There's a lovely but steep hiking trail behind the condo to a turtle cave that I recommend you check out if it's not too muddy and slippery.

The best part about this property is the view of the ocean from the lanai. Unfortunately, the furnishings are pretty old and tired. But the property will meet your basic needs and give you a beautiful view.

Unit was good but very hot with no air conditioning. Ceiling fans helped but needed more additional fans. We arrived late at night so would recommend someone stopping by the day of check in and opening all of the windows to at least allow some air into the unit. Also, units downstairs have screen doors so that you can leave the door open..we would suggest that the owner have a screen door installed - would have made a tremendous difference on the airflow...we didn’t leave the door open due to possibility of bugs/mosquitoes. Other than the heat we were very happy! Management company was great and very quick to respond when we called with small issue.
