This fully remodeled 1bd/1ba penthouse (PH 25 on the 6th floor) in the Mill building at Sugar Beach Resort is beachfront with direct ocean views as soon as you walk in the door. You can whale watch from the lanai or take an easy elevator ride to the first floor where you can walk the 7-mile beach, swim in the pool, relax in the jetted spa, barbecue on the grills, putt golf balls, or lounge in the resort-provided chaise lounge chairs overlooking the sandy beach and staring at the beautiful blue water of the Pacific ocean.

The space:
The living room has wide opening sliding glass doors and screen doors to allow for indoor/outdoor living. There is a 65-inch Samsung TV with basic cable, a Bose Wave Music System, high-speed Internet with WiFi, and a variety of books, games, cards, and even some recipe books to enjoy the taste of Maui. The sofa has a pull-out bed which is ideal for children but may not be appropriate for adults.

There is central air conditioning that will automatically shut off to conserve energy when the doors are open.

The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, glasses, wine glasses, coffee mugs, Mr. Coffee coffee maker, Ninja blender, 4 slice bagel/bread toaster, pots/pans, rice cooker, cooking utensils, cutlery, cookie sheets, storage containers, aluminum foil and saran wrap. The refrigerator does not have an ice maker, but there are ice trays and an ice container in the bottom drawer freezer.

There is a cooler onsite with ice packs in the freezer to chill sandwiches and drinks while at the beach. Four beach towels have been provided. Beach chairs, snorkel equipment, beach umbrella and more provided.

There is a safe in the master bedroom. Shutters keep the bedroom dark and private. The master bedroom can be locked off from the bathroom so if guests are sleeping on the sleeper sofa, they can use the bathroom without disturbing occupants in the master bedroom. The shower stall and toilet are in a separate room with a pocket door to separate it from the vanity for added privacy.

There is a stackable washer and dryer conveniently located in a hall closet. Cleaning supplies are onsite which includes a broom, mop, dustpan, pail, duster, dish detergent, dishwasher detergent, surface cleaner, soft cleanser, and mirror cleaner.

Guest access:
You will have private access to the condo and use of the common areas, including a gated pool and Jacuzzi, and beach access.

Other things to note:
The codes to the pool gate and poolside bathrooms change frequently. Please stop by the Manager's office upon your arrival to obtain this information. NOTICE OF POOL CLOSURE: Each year in September, the pool will be closed for routine maintenance for 1-2 weeks. The planned closure for 2023 begins on September 11th and is anticipated to last 2 weeks, ending on September 25th.
