Matching Guest's expectations;
We are SuperHost on alternate travels sites, with stellar reviews there.
1 Our condo unit is not in perfect condition, the complex is near 60 years old
2 We are located on the ground floor- nearest to Kahala Avenue, it's not "library quiet" and there are noises via lower garage area.
3 While the condo complex generally feels luxurious; we are not the Four Seasons, nor the adjacent $1500/ per night for 1000 sq.ft. suite - Kahala Resort.
We do this professionally and when expectations are met in advance of a stay with us is memorable. We're SuperHosts on alternate travel site(s)...

The property was perfect for our family of 4 ( 2 kids of 6 and 7 years old). They enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed the beach outside the building.
The sunrises were magical and we had all the beach gear you can imagine.
Hawaii is a paradise but the location of the apartment is even better!!!

This location feels both isolated because of its location on the beach and in the middle of the action because of the proximity to the mall, restaurants, and nightlife. There is a lot of fun beach and sports equipment in the apartment and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is large and great for cooking.

Great location, so close to Waikiki, but removed from the busy tourist vibe. Absolutely idyllic, and my family loved it. Yes, ages 7-75 years and we all loved it and would go back anytime. Lisbeth is very attentive and makes sure you have everything you need and is so quick to respond. TY!!

This was a fantastic property and location!
Quiet and removed, but still minutes from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki!

The whole complex is very lovely and the gardening is beautiful with huge koi. We were there for 31 days in Dec/Jan and this place is in the bottom corner on a NE corner of the building under the trees. It was dark, especially on the many cloudy days, but it has lots of “toys” for getting outside… wind surfer, boogie boards, fins, googles, umbrella, bicycles, and a scooter.
The condo is spacious, with a pool table, a one-person sauna, well stocked with usual supplies and a few foods, extra coffee, bottled water and tea, as well as 3 big TV’s, and a great juicer(!).
The parking space downstairs is also convenient.
The most pertinent issue for us, however, was the uninterrupted noise of the generators cooling the whole building from the other side of the master bedroom wall. It was enough to get us to move to the second bedroom, though it still reverberated through the pillow, and in the rest of the condo. Our 34yr old daughter didn’t mind but if you are sensitive or have any difficulties sleeping, be aware.
(To their credit, they offered us a small credit for the noise and offered a rebate for a next visit, which we are not interested in using.)
We tried to alert the owners to the maintenance issues below but that’s not their strong point...... yet.
Having arrived in an unusually big storm understandably the lanai rug was well soaked at both front corners….. but it remained so throughout our stay, smelling like mold.
The dishwasher was old and somewhat rusted, which wouldn’t have mattered if it had washed the dishes. It didn’t, so we did them by hand.
The washing machine drum shook violently when spinning. It could only spin a very few small things, if you positioned them carefully. Two normal loads took all day in very small amounts. We never got the oven controls to work, and an internet search for a manual didn’t help. (A letter to the hosts two days before Christmas never got an answer.)
We unclogged the bathroom sink drains ourselves as they were backing up. The handle was gone from the refrigerator, and a crisper drawer was missing.
(The property description didn’t mention it but know that unvaccinated people cannot use the open-air pool, the library or gym.)
