We were able to walk everywhere in the town. We know parking by the farmers market and the pier can be a challenge so it was nice to be able to just walk everywhere.

The unit was very nice, clean and close to everything. Management addressed the only issue we had, which was minor, very quickly and professionally. The only items I would suggest be addressed are replacing the kitchen knives and peeler which are starting to get worn out. I would also suggest better directions from the airport as the maps app took us to the wrong side of the complex and at night was difficult to find.

First time renting thru Vrbo, and it was great! We felt at home, safe and comfortable, we did hear some noises from other units, but it wasn’t bad, our days were so full and busy, that when we fell asleep, we fell “dead” asleep, and we slept good, sofa bed and king size bed were both so comfy! It was a clean, comfortable, beautiful unit, very grateful for the beach equipment we had the use of, I bought a lawn chair, and left it behind in the unit, for future renters to enjoy, and we’re very grateful for the fully equipped kitchen we had! We met one of the residents from upstairs, she was very friendly. Has the cutest dog, and helpful when we asked her a few questions! And is getting older, we were very grateful that it was in the ground floor! When I come back to the big island, I wouldn’t mind renting from you again!

Good location for walking to downtown Kona and avoiding the struggle to find parking. Unit was clean and comfortable; laundry in the unit is a huge plus. Beach towels and chairs are available; the beach chairs backpack straps are all broken, so keep this in mind when lugging your stuff to the beach. There is minimal natural light and no view whatsoever from this unit. Probably not an issue if you’re there for vacation and will be gone all day. I was primarily working, so in the unit all day. There are crews running leaf blowers most days, but otherwise the unit was very quiet and I could not hear the neighbors above or next to the unit. Parking is close, too. Would rent again.

I stayed in this property for 12 days, the first half with my mom and then by my self for the last half. First and foremost for me is safety & cleanliness- this property gets a perfect grade for both!
As a runner, this is the perfect location for a morning run with tons of other runners and riders around, ended with a quick stop off at the best island Acai joint just steps away from the property, making for a picture perfect morning. Kona Island Resort is also at the end of the street and I walked there multiple nights to take in the sunset and a live luau!!
There is a beach access pathway at the end of the driveway to the left and it takes you to an amazing spot to lay out in a grassy area that offers sun and shade.
As far as the inside of the property goes, the floors feel a bit dated but they are clean and thats what matters! The rainfall shower is phenomenal and the property owner thought of everything you may end up needing, so you will not miss a thing as far as convenience.
I had one issue with the shower drain backing up and they sent someone in a snap to unplug it so it didn’t disrupt my entire day! He was professional, friendly and efficient which is all anyone can ask for- so thanks!
My son and his family live on the island and I come to visit fairly often. This will be my go-to property for all my future visits!
