Your dreams of staying oceanfront on O’ahu’s North Shore come true at Hale Oka Nunu. When you stay at this 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home located in rural Mokuleia, the clear, aqua ocean is your backyard and with its lapping waves, it beckons you to come out and play. The house itself is its own oasis, and filled with island style decor. This property is fully enclosed with a lava rock wall, outdoor camera security, and fences on all sides.
An updated gourmet kitchen with a large island, granite countertops, and dark wooden cabinets warmly welcomes you into the home. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, which you can easily do while chatting with your friends and family seated at the breakfast bar. The charming ceiling fans in each room keep the rooms cool. The kitchen flows into the open dining room with a comfortable living room that follows, with its oversized sectional and flat screen TV, although the view beyond the large window of the oceanfront room will make you forget entirely about the TV. With a twin daybed and a plush armchair, which have been perfectly positioned for you to take full advantage of the panoramic ocean view, you’ll be tempted to stare out at the heavenly sight with your favorite beverage and a good book.
From the oceanfront room, the sliding glass doors lead you to a sizable lanai where you’ll find a picnic table, perfect for outdoor dining, as well as a private hot tub. A beautifully maintained lawn and tall palm trees frame the oceanfront, which lays just beyond the property’s rock wall.
The family room of Hale Oka Nunu contains a split air conditioning unit and ceiling fans throughout to ensure your comfort during the warmer days.
The primary bedroom boasts a California King-size bed and a spacious ensuite with stunning ocean views and beautiful tile floors leading to a soaking tub, granite countertops, and plenty of windows showering the room in natural light.
The first guest bedroom with beautiful ocean views has a Queen-size bed with sliding glass doors to access the lanai and a shared full bathroom, this one consisting of sand-colored tiles and surf decor. The second guest room with a California King sized bed, shares a spacious Jack and Jill bathroom, complete with a blue tiled shower and turtle artwork. The remaining guest room is perfect for little ones, containing two Twin-sized beds.
Although the Pacific Ocean is only steps away from this amazing home, don’t miss the opportunity to see some of the beaches in the area. Mokuleia Beach Park with its long, sandy beach and shallow reef attracting snorkelers and swimmers is a great option. You will also find the reputable Dillingham Ranch with Polo field and horseback riding. If you venture out a little farther into Haleiwa Town, there are spots where you can devour garlic shrimp, shave ice, and acai bowls. You’re also able to browse the charming surf shops and local boutiques, allowing you to search for those perfect souvenirs.
Please be advised that you are staying in the country, close to the ocean. Ants, chickens, peacocks, geckos, termites, cockroaches and other animals live here and are a regular part of everyday life. We do treat for pests professionally and will always provide you with a clean well-kept home, but note that these types of visitors are not uncommon.
The property will be made exclusively available to the renter for a full period of 30-days ...

Our group of 11 stayed at Hale Oka Nunu for a week, and we loved our time here! The home is beautiful and has plenty of space for our group to gather together inside or enjoy the fantastic views outside. Rich was highly responsive to our every question and had the home set up perfectly. We could also get to about everywhere we needed around the island within an hour. Another nice perk of this location is the lack of traffic. We experienced awful traffic in the more touristy spots around the island. The traffic was little to none here, and we were within 10 minutes of Haleiwa, which had plenty of shops and places to eat. We would 100% recommend Hale Oka Nunu!
