This 20th floor unit of the Waikiki Sunset is fully furnished with one king size bed in the bedroom, one queen size sofa bed in the living room, and kitchen counter with four dining chairs.
The full size kitchen has everything you’ll need to feel right at home: plates, glasses, silverware, cook-top stove, full size refrigerator, microwave, rice cooker, pots and pans, coffee maker, etc.
Free parking pass and free private wifi are both included for your entire stay.
The Waikiki Sunset features a recreational sun deck with a pool, BBQ grills, and a mini grocery mart in the building.
Location, location, location! Just one block from Waikiki beach, this is the perfect Waikiki getaway. Within walking distance are the Honolulu Zoo, Kapiolani Park, Waikiki Aquarium, Waikiki Shell concert hall, the newly renovated International Marketplace, restaurants, live music venues, surfing, swimming, snorkeling, boogie boarding, hiking, farmers markets, and many more fun activities.

I have stayed at this property previously, and really enjoy the location...just blocks from ther main drag in Waikiki. The overall property is a bit dated, but the unit I stayed in was very comfortable and had nice views of both the ocean and Diamond Head.

We were disappointed with this property. We are a family who travels a fair amount and have never disliked our condo rental, until now. I would not stay here again. Here are my takeaways: Lighting at the pool and grill area were never on at night, unstable internet that often did not work, no personal/welcoming touches (this was even more disappointing since it was Christmas when we stayed), instead we were greeted with a TON of rules, since it's a privately owned unit security would not let us use a luggage chart, the beach equipment was old and sad (3 chairs and very old/thin beach towels, no sand toys or cooler), the pans in the unit were terribly scratched (I would not feed my family off of those and suggest they be tossed before someone gets sick), but the WORST part of all was the elevators. The wait time for the elevators was ridiculous!! The condo is on the 20th floor which means you will be waiting at least 20 mins for an elevator to show up. When it does, expect it to be full, leaving you to wait for another 10+ minutes to catch the next one. Don't go anywhere in a hurry, you'll have to take the stairs and carry all of your stuff/children down 20 flights of concrete stairs. The only positive thing about this condo was the free parking, up until you leave that is. You are told to leave the parking pass in the condo upon check-out, but when we were leaving the parking garage we got yelled at for not having it. We told the attendant why, but she just kept yelling.

A few minutes walk to the beach, a good air conditioned room and a comfortable bed. That’s all we needed. Oh, free parking was great.

Pros: clean rooms, beach equipment, house hold items, location, pool, gym, easy check in process, free parking.
Cons: The master bedroom did not lock, hotel workers and security guards unwelcoming if not hotel guest.

The unit offers fabulous views of Diamond Head and the surfers (south & north). The location is very convenient for walking around Waikiki.
The unit itself is well laid out. The bathtub did not drain well when we arrived. A plunging by us solved the problem. This is something that the cleaning people should have known about.
Late one evening there was a fire alarm and we evacuated via the stairs. The building personnel including security guards made no attempt to communicate with the evacuees with respect to the problem. They simply kept their heads down avoiding the large group of people in the lobby and outside.
