Great location, clean, and great amenities. AC could be stronger, though. Other than that it was a great stay.

Stayed at this condo for three weeks. Everything was perfect and fabulous. The view was fantastic. The condo was clean. The staff was friendly, helpful, and quick. I was walking distance of Magic Sands Beach (one mile) and a quick drive to many places. Just a great location! Special note: I am personally not used to the heat, so the air conditioner wasn’t super strong right away, but as soon as I acclimated it was great. The staff on their own initiative gave me an extra fan to help circulate the air that really helped. The road just outside was fine for me; however, I’ve stayed on the Waikiki front where it gets really busy. It was quieter than that in June here at the condo. I did shut everything the curtains, the doors, and turned on the air conditioning in the evening just to have a kind of a cocoon and wasn’t woken up by morning street noise. The Poke Shack across the street was delish; the farmers market, the chocolatier, and the baker were yummy; and the Ali’i Gardens Market had great coffee, fresh produce, and fun souvenirs within walking distance. Walking to Magic Sands Beach every day there were a lot of little beaches where you could dunk in just to cool off for the day. Even the two beaches accessible to the condo were nice to dunk in. I even saw different tropical fish! I would highly recommend this condo for a stay at the island of Hawai‘i!!

The property was well maintained and exactly as shown. We loved the size of the space and thoughtfulness of amenities. Things that might help others: specify which building it is (# 6 wasn’t well marked in the dark). Also, give clearer directions for the keypad. The first night took us over 1/2 hour to get in, and no one responded to texts or calls. Neither did Google. We talked to several others who had the same problem. Give directions for use of the TV. The door stop on the outside door slips, and once didn’t allow us to easily push the door open. It would be nice to have more silverware. We couldn’t really use the dishwasher because the silverware was constantly dirty.

Older property but a real gem with beach access. AC in the unit was a nice change to our previous Condo. Comfortable bed and small balcony with an ocean view. Definitely would consider staying there again.

Short drive to Kona commercial center. This unit works well for a solo traveler or couple who want convenience of a kitchen for breakfast/snacks/saving on meals and a comfy spot to return to after a day at the beach. Plenty of ocean breeze and waves, as well as ceiling fan breeze. Also street trafffic but you'll hear birds too!

We really enjoyed the property - perfect for my wife and I. Great location - watched the sunset right from the Lani. Completely as advertised.

It's not Hilton level for the interior features, but if you can gripe about the view and the location, I can't help you- would gladly go back anytime- wouldn't be a terrible idea to consider some updates for the property (shower, king bed vs queen) but a wonderful place to stay and just wish we had electric bikes there to run around on , great area

While the location has a nice view and was convient. The lack of assistance from Vacasa and staff was frustrating. A lot of promises, but no follow through. We understand sometimes things need fixed in rental properties- things aren't always perfect. However one does expect that when an issue, such as people being able to see straight into your small room, it would be taken care of. It wasn't.
There were 2 missing vertical blinds on the floor to ceiling wall of windows facing the street and another condo. We called the first night to report and request a solution to zero privacy. We had to call again the second night because it still wasnt solved a d no word from anyone on the progress.
There was promises made that it would be quickly remedied with some compensation for that first night. The second night we called back to report still nothing was done. We did get an email saying we requested maintenance, but that was the end of any customer service. Ultimately, problem was never fixed.
We had also called about getting the correct wifi network id and password. The wifi network ID and password was not correct in the check in email. They said they would get us the right info, and never did. We did end up finding it on the back of the router.
Other things to note:
Code for the key lock box we were given in welcome email indicated a 4 number code - it was actually just a 3 number code. Had to figure that out on our own to get into apartment.
Coin laundry room and pool are across the street, we went to see them, but never used them.
There was a security guard seen frequently on his cart. He was friendly and seemed quite attentive. We felt safe. Note there us a hostel next door to the apartments.
Parking is ok. You have to register your car by filling out your info and placing it in a box in the office across the street. The letter just says at the office. No instruction concerning office location anywhere. We looked around for the office at the site we were at. We ended up needing to find someone and ask where the office was. NOTE - it was across the street about a block down and hard to locate.
Apartment is on the 3rd floor of an older bulding. It sits on a heavily traveled main thoroughfare. You can see the ocean from the small balcony and watch the sunset. You could hear the ocean in between passing cars. Street noise was loud - even hearing conversation of people walking down on the street as they passed, while inside and sliding door closed. Heavy trucks, such as garbage would come very early, even on the weekend. They will wake you up.
Kitchen was clean & well stocked. Refrigerator smelled lightly of clorox (not overwhelming) - indicating a good cleaning.
Bed was uncomfortably hard, with badly fitting linens and very thin mattress cover to veil the bad mattress. Pillows were of the pancake variety.
There were small toiletries to get you started. Only 2 washcloths were in the unit. There were beach towels in addition to bath towels. The tub/shower tiles and grout had mold and tub was dingy.
The tile floors throughout had a slimey gooey feel to them. Carpet was very stained & stretched out.
Lots of light emitting devices in combination of street light from outside keeps the room quite light at night. So if you are light sensitive sleeper, you will need a solution such as a mask.
We travel quite often due to our work and have never been completely ignored when we have had issues such as missing slats in wallthat encroached our privacy. The lack of concern to even try to remedy the problem was dissapointing.
Due to the lack of assistance and response from the Vacasa and staff, I think we will steer clear of Vacasa rentals on VBRO.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Kona. The venue had everything we needed, and more, to have a wonderful time. Steps to the beach, a lovely pool and spa, and to the trolley to venture into Kailua. The VRBO was as pictured, with new appliances, ample linens, and a view from the lanai that was unsurpassed. Grocery stores (Walmart and Safeway) are a short drive away, with the Banyan Market within an easy walk for last minutes needs. Be sure to check out the crab sandwich at Finn’s - right across the street.. We will select this location for our next trip to Kona. Mahalo.
