We loved staying at Kamapua'a Hale. The home is tastefully decorated and has every amenity you could possibly need for your Kauai vacation. There were six of us and the house has enough snorkeling gear for all us. That's just one example. There are ample beach towels and chairs, sand toys, and flotation devices for the pool. The pool is fabulous. We spent many hours in the beautiful backyard. There is a BBQ and all the kitchen equipment you need. We would 100% recommend this home to anyone looking for the perfect stay.

Our stay was overall very good. The good stuff: - The kitchen was well equipped, and we were able to make family meals easily. - Pool was lovely. - Views were incredible. - There are fans and AC to stay cool. - Location is great.- There were games, pool toys and snorkel gear which we used. - Beds were very comfortable.- Property manager was very responsive.The downsides: - The master bed upstairs is probably a small queen or large double. I'm recovering from an injury and need a bit of extra space, so unfortunately my husband and I had to stay downstairs in the larger bed with a more limited view. - The blinds didn't cover all the windows, so if you have little kids just something to be aware of. - The place is a bit older than we expected and the windows don't close properly, few gaps around the edges etc., so the kids got bitten a few nights.

It can be really difficult to know what you're getting when you haven't actually seen a property...but this place is THE ONE. The views are completely unobstructed. You feel like there is nobody around and it's 180*. If you didn't leave your balcony, your vacation would still be a success. We saw a full rainbow - end to end - our very first morning!
House is super comfortable and has everything you'll need - cooler for the beach, chairs, towels, umbrella, waterproof bag, even books to take. It's absolutely big enough for a couple of families. Note - there is only one TV in the house and it's in a bedroom. We were absolutely exhausted all 9 nights so we fell into bed but just a heads up if you have little kids.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location & views were amazing! North Shore is our favorite part of Kauai. The rental was spacious, clean, tastefully decorated & on a quiet street. The pool was a bonus for the kids and lovely way to end our day. My only negative comment would be to bring the outdoor shower to good working order. It was a wonderful place to spend our vacation.

We absolutely loved our 7 day stay at Kamapua’a Hale! We are a family of 4, including two sons in their 20’s. We took full advantage of the pool area—swam, grilled out,etc. House was just as described. Loved waking up to that beautiful view of the mountains, the waterfalls, to the sound of roosters and birds. Gorgeous!!
