Having a car is convenient but not necessary. We're right across the street from beach access. A few minutes' walk to "S" Turn Beach and all the sea turtles that sunbathe there. Playing in the ocean year-round is the norm.

the sound of the elevator all night was bad, the toaster was old and did not work well, the rubber door stop broke when we were there, the shower handle fell off every time we turned it on, the pics in the bathroom were not on the wall, but the tape was left on the wall, we paid for 9 nights of stay and were given 3 rolls of toilet paper and told we had to purchase our own, 1 roll of paper towels for 9 days and 4 trash bags...great location, but the unit itself not great,

We stayed at the Kahana Manor condo for two and a half months and it was great for us. We really felt like it was home while we were there. Location-wise, it is a mostly resort area and not a lot of walkable resources but one nice thing is that the street level of the Kahana Manor building consists of stores and restaurants (both restaurants recommended!) and one thing we especially appreciated was the water refill machine at the convenience store since the tap water is not considered drinkable. That was really nice. We also really appreciated that there were bus stops in front of the building as well since it was our main mode of transportation (although it only runs once per hour so requires some planning).
It can be loud around there as traffic can be loud at times on either the road fronting the building or the main highway a block or so behind it. All the buildings in the area also run their leaf blowers for extended periods of time, usually on weekdays, so if you’re looking for an entirely tranquil, quiet experience, this may not be the place for you. We live in a city so it was not a big deal for us. We enjoyed the pool and also appreciated the recycling options. Overall we would definitely recommend this condo and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

The location is unbeatable for the price. The unit was clean and prepared with necessary products. Washer and dryer were great! The king bed and pillows were so comfortable! The pull out couch bed was surprisingly very comfortable! The ac unit is in the bedroom and made it a nice little cool area but sleeping in the living room with the windows open to feel the ocean breeze all night was the place to be. We would stay here again!

The condo was quite lovely and had everything we needed; from the washer and dryer to the little things like the dishware, cookware etc. Very convenient shops at the bottom of condo beaches near by. It was a overall great experience!

We had a very comfortable stay. The condo had all the amenities we needed. It was quiet considering we were next to the street. It was nice to have a small view of the ocean. The air conditioning unit worked great as a noise maker and to keep us cool.

Disappointed there was only the couch for two people. No comfortable chairs for balcony. No reading lamp in living area. Kitchen was nice but missing a toaster. No floor vacuum or broom. Elevator noise was very annoying! Bathroom was wonderful as was the king bed.! Loud street noise. VRBO and Maui Paradise Properties we’re both excellent to work with.

Property was clean and beautiful! We stayed for 5 days and felt at home here. All the logistics were clear and straightforward, didn’t have any issues here. Location was within a 10-15min drive of beaches, good food, shopping, etc. Only struggle was with the bed (too soft for my back problems). Enjoy Maui, aloha!

The listing pictures depict this condo exactly how it is; modern, clean, and super comfortable. I used to live in Kahana and I picked this location because it is super convenient! There are two restaurants right below, a nail salon, and convenient store. Super short walk to Maui Brew Co and Whalers General, too! I was taking the bus to get around and the bus stops (heading north and south) are right out front. Super short walk to S-Turns beach (great for swimming and surfing)! It’s hard to find a condo with modern amenities to stay in on the islands and this gem did not disappoint! AC units worked like a dream! (Also hard to find on the islands). I HIGHLY recommend!
