In Jan 2022, we resumed renting this cottage as a vacation rental. (We stopped in March 2020 due to COVID).

Previously, this property was listed on another vacation rental platform. We achieved superhost status and we have hundreds of 5-star reviews. We are happy to provide references upon your request.

The cottage is located within the fenced grounds of our property but it is a completely separate building.

One block to the beach - sunrise, sunset, and moonlit walks along the pristine beaches of Kailua Bay.

Play in the waves - surf, SUP, kayak, fish, and swim in the beautiful waters of Kailua.
The small town beach vibe of Kailua is truly unique.

A full variety of great places to dine and/or relax with a drink following an afternoon of snorkeling off Lanikai Beach, hiking one of our many trails or exploring the North Shore.

Traditional retail venues in Kailua include:
Whole Foods, Foodland, Down to Earth, Target, Longs, Starbucks, California Pizza Kitchen, UFC GYM.
Kailua is popular for its unique range of boutiques, art galleries, yoga studios (Yoga under the Palms is my favorite), and great eating and bar options- Lanikai Brewing, Maui Brewing, Goen, & Uahi Grill.

We also have three Farmers Markets in Kailua.
- Kailua Farmers' Market: from 4 to 7 on Thursdays
- KailuaTown Farmers Market: from 8-12 on Sundays
- Lokahi Kailua Market: from 9 to 1 on Sundays


House Rules:

- Quiet Hours: 10:00 pm to 7:00 am

- Check-In Time: After 3:00 pm HST

No candles or open flames
No smoking on the entire property
No parties/events
Not safe/suitable for children (0-12 years)
No pets
No unregistered guests overnight

***Host reserves the right to enter the property at any time to perform cleaning, maintenance, and upkeep, and/or to ensure guests are in compliance with house rules. When guests are physically present, host will notify/coordinate with guests via Airbnb messages prior to entering the property.***

Security Always:
Always CLOSE and LOCK GATE as you come IN and OUT

Keep Cool:
Turn Air Conditioner (A/C) OFF before departing the property
(Think Green! host reserves right to enter Cottage to turn A/C off if left ON)
Recommend leaving windows OPEN and fans ON to keep cottage cool whenever you are AWAY.

Da Beach:
Shoes always remain outside please - true Hawaiian style
Rinse sandy feet off with the hose at side of main house
Please hang wet beach towels on the clothes line by the carport

Housekeeping:
Broom/Dustpan available, cleaning products are in bathroom cupboard.
Text us if you need linens, towels, beach towels, or rubbish bag collected.
Recycle? place rinsed bottles / cans in blue bin behind cottage.
