A stunning oceanfront condo in the Pat’s at Punalu’u community. The unit comes with 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and offers 800 interior square feet, along with a large covered 128 square feet covered lanai for your enjoyment. The spacious interior sleeps four (4) guests comfortably with one (1) king sized bed and one (1) sleeper sofa. You are provided with one (1) dedicated parking stall with additional guest parking should you have visitors.
Amenities include a fully stocked kitchen to prepare on-site meals, in-unit washer & dryer, community pool and gym for keeping up with your training schedule while on vacation. But the best part of this property is the private beachfront location that allows guest access to crystal clear blue water and a white sandy beach for relaxation or ocean activities.

Private beach access directly in front of the property, which is a great option for swimming, snorkeling or just sunbathing and letting the stress wash away. During the winter months (Nov-Feb), seven miles of North Shore beaches host a variety of surfing competitions with waves getting as big as 30 feet high or bigger. Surfing waves at this size should be left to the professionals but spending the day with your family and friends watching the competitions is an experience you will not soon forget. If you are looking for a day trip, the Polynesian Cultural Center is an 8-minute drive and will allow you to explore a 42-acre adventure park detailing the rich heritage of the Pacific Islands. Otherwise, you can drive a little further (38 minutes) and explore the Historic Haleiwa Beach Town with restaurants, art galleries, shopping, and local souvenir shops. Just a short drive in the opposite direction (14 minutes), Kualoa Ranch hosts a variety of activities such as movie tours, horseback riding, mountain biking and ziplining to name a few. You truly have access to activities for everyone in the family.

We loved the condo! Everything plus more! One of the best stocked kitchens I’ve ever stayed in! Full size appliances, and just everything you would need. Plus everything was so clean!! The condo had tons of space…comfy big couches, lots of storage…big closet and lots of drawers. They also outfitted the unit with tons of outlets for all your charging needs. I loved the split bathrooms so my husband and I could get ready at the same time. The new washer and dryer was such a pleasure to have! The unit starter kit was also so nice to have…it was awesome not having to run out and buy supplies. The owners also supplied a generous amount of outdoor gear! Boards, chairs, snorkeling, umbrella and sand toys! We were fortunate to see turtles several times on the beach directly out from the condo…very swimmable beach and a lovely grassy sitting area. Exactly what we wanted. Beautiful and CLEAN (my wife approved). Hearing the ocean at night was worth the price alone. If you want a slow pace and enjoy the beautiful drive, this is the place. Yes theres construction, but it didnt impede on our trip at all.

We had a great stay and it was very relaxing watching the ocean view each day. We did not see the AC unit in the closet until the last day even though it was referred to in the description. I might recommend to leave the ac unit out for the summer months when it is humid. Beautiful unit and I would return in a heartbeat.

very peaceful , Loved beach right in front of me, liked that we were away from big city , enjoyed the nearby little Markets. outside of building not that pretty but I know that there is work being done on it so soon the outside will look better. The apt was great inside. Thanks

Beautiful location! We loved that the beach was so convenient. The locals are super friendly. I was a little disappointed where the condo was located. I confirmed before our trip that the condo was on the bottom level but it was actually on the second floor. Also, under the amenities it does say a/c but that means a portable a/c you can move from room to room. Nonetheless we overlooked those concerns since we were in paradise and it was my first trip back since I was born there.

The condo itself is wonderful. But we had water back up from the washing machine drain and spill all over the place. We had to move to a hotel, which of course did not have the same amenities. This condo should not be rented until the water issues on the property are fixed.

Sadly we did not have a good experience at this property for several reasons.
I appreciate that the property listing has since been updated with warnings about the ongoing construction but unfortunately this information was not posted or available when we booked this property months ago.
We booked 9 nights at this property. On our 3rd day at the condo we realized we had no water! Upon further investigation we realized this property would have NO water Monday through Friday from 0830-1630. There was signage posted in the elevator which is how we made this discovery that our unit would be without water for 5 days of our stay.
This property should not have been rented during this timeframe of having no water. After complaining and sending emails to verify our units water outage, we were offered a refund for the remaining duration of our stay if we left, or they could relocate us to another unit but not for the entire duration of our stay, only partially.
We were unsuccessful in finding anywhere else to go on the island at such last minute that offered the same amenities such as the kitchen and washer/dryer and obviously packing, unpacking, packing, unpacking all of our belongings and groceries made no sense for a partial stay. We suffered through it but it 100% made our trip very difficult. Everything we did had to be planned around when we would be able to shower or use the bathroom.
I feel this property listing also needs to be a little more clear about this unit being air conditioned as well. There is a portable A/C unit in the bedroom that struggles to keep that room cool. The entire unit does not have A/C and having A/C listed as an amenity for this property is deceiving.
Due to construction the pool area is only open 4:30-8:30PM Monday through Friday. During our stay, one elevator was broken down so there was only 1 functional elevator left but during the week it is basically tied up with construction workers.
If you can look past all of the above of this unit basically not having A/C, maybe not having any running water, construction noises beginning around 8AM and lasting till almost 5 and not having the amenity of a pool during the weekday then you might enjoy your stay.
The owners did provide little things for renters such as kitchen utensils and appliances, universal phone chargers, beach towels and snorkel gear which was nice. The ocean view is beautiful but based on our experience we wouldn’t stay again.

Our condo was just great, just what you need for two people. We had an unexpected treat and that was A/C in the bedroom. But during the day had that nice breeze coming through. The one issue was that we were not made aware that there was construction going to the building. It was a hassle dealing with the workers. We were on the second floor and the elevators were constantly tied up with workers which meant we had to use the stairs quite a bit. All the guests we talked to were not made aware of the construction either. One more note is that the smell of sewer was a little bad at times but we new about that because this was our second stay here. Overall the stay was very good

This unit is huge for a 1-bedroom. Very nice inside. The kitchen had spices, olive oil, vinegars and honey. At least a little coffee would have been nice. We loved having the beach toys and boogie boards available for us to use. Great sand beach for the kids right in front of the condo…which we used a lot since the POOL WAS “CLOSED for maintenance” all but the first evening that we checked in. 😞
We were a bit shocked by the state of the condo complex when we first drove in. Tarps, scaffolding, and construction equipment everywhere, including taking up half the parking lot. The construction noise was not enjoyable to wake up to (which started before 6AM, well before “quiet hours” are suppose to end). Listing description really should be transparent about this in property details. Given the construction and closed pool, we would bot have booked and definitely overpaid.
