We’ve stayed at the Regency prior to Covid and love the condo complex. The staff Is so friendly and you can’t beat the location. First time staying on the 9th floor and beautiful view of the ocean. Our only unusual experience was the shower tap. When turned on to the right, it was very cold. We then discovered that you only had to turn it slightly to get hot water. Other than that we look forward to staying there again in the future. We just loved it.

We avoided high hotel costs by staying in this boutique condo suite. It was perfect for our two teen boys, my husband and I. The kitchen had everything we needed. We made our own amazing strawberry daiquiris. There’s a car rental place nearby so we rented a car twice during our stay. So close to the beach and restaurants. Highly recommend.

We booked this last minute and while it took a few hours to receive the confirmation, everything worked out well. We arrived and the instructions were perfect. There was an available meter out front to unload. There is also a lot behind the building if you have a vehicle. The lanai was very spacious and had a perfect view of the Friday Night Fireworks show put on by the Hilton. This spot is close to the beach, two blocks, although that area of the ocean is rocky, so bring water shoes. ABC Stores is right next door, super convenient. Save your receipts for free prizes. Great restaurants within feet (meters) or a couple of blocks. The building has 24 hour security and a front desk person. After 9PM the room keyboard is required to enter.
Inside the condo, there is adjustable AC, dishes and cookware, full size fridge, stove top, dishwasher, dish towels, scissors, wine/beer opener, sponge, paper towels, and a convection oven/microwave; bedroom with ample closet space, towels for the shower and beach, linens, queen bed, laundry basket, cleaning supplies if needed; and a bathroom with toilet paper, soap and shampoo/conditioner with a pretty big shower (no tub); and the living room with a pull out sofa. Two dining tables, one inside and one out on the Lanai with super comfy chairs. Two flat screen TVs. It was quaint but really a great time. We walked to the zoo and Ubered back.
They even had left over containers to use and store in the fridge. We bought coasters because the surface tops are glass and I planned on leaving them for future guests but noticed my hubby packed them.
Other aspects, Beachwalk Ave is very quiet compared to all of the people along Kalakaua. The slider windows along the bedroom open up to the living area which was great. Wasabi Bistro was great, it is across the street, make a reservation.
I would book this spot again!

I liked the place we were staying. It was a bit too small for a family of four. If I go again I would stay there again. I liked the view. Walking distant to the beach. Could find really nice restaurants close by.

The condo looked better in person than the pictures. Also the view was better than the pictures All in all a great place to stay.
There were a few of things that were not good
We could not get the phones to work and emailed the office but did not receive a reply so called and the woman who answered said they would send out a maintenance person.
Instead of coming out he called and said that he found out from the hotel that they had cut off the phone and it was beyond their control. I found his to be an unlikely story, especially because there were 2 phones in the condo. He said that the desk downstairs told him that we would still be able to call down to the desk or 911 but we could not get the desk. The phone just didn’t work at all We had to purchase e a package ($12 per day) in order to be able to communicate with our friends at another property and also to make local calls. This was very pricey over 17 days and annoying for us as we have never not had a phone in any property we have stayed at. Also not being given enough toilet paper for 17 days seemed a bit chintzy The last thing I want to have to do when on vacation is have to buy household supplies. We were also told we would only receive 3 garbage bags but fortunately there was a roll in the bottom of the garbage bin so we had enough. No recycling in unit (or info.)but we asked the desk and they said if we left the recycling outside of our door they would take care of it. The latch on the bathroom was falling out of the wall so we could not use it and the door itself had a piece of moulding missing which made it rattle when we slid it back and forth. The shower did not have a guide on the bottom for the glass doors which caused them to flap in the breeze when opened or closed.
This unit has a lot to offer and the aggravating things I have mentioned would not take a lot of effort or money to rectify which is why I am mentioning them

The condo was clean. Had all the kitchen utilities you would ever need. Full sized fridge. The freezer door kept sticking. The bed was a queen and very comfortable. The patio was spacious. We were on the 9th floor and had a beautiful view of the area and partial view of ocean. Close to bus stops. ABC store right next door! Matter of fact one on every block. Ocean just two blocks away. Never had any issues. Loved our stay.

Excellent choice in this price range compared to others we’ve stayed at . Only reason for a 4 out of 5 rating is no place is perfect . But— it was clean , spacious , good size balcony , well equipped modern kitchen , nice bathroom . Small bedroom but ok .Small detail —- whoever decided to put in that impractical, ridiculous bathroom basin should be shot at dawn ( not literally— it’s an old British saying :-) ) Sliding patio door should have been fixed but it still worked . All in all a good choice , we would stay again for sure .
