Ocean in front of the hotel was too choppy for swimming most of the time, but there are several other beaches nearby.

The view of the water was nice — if you could see it. Very dirty windows. Realizing that ocean properties are hard to keep with sparkling windows, but a little effort would have been helpful. Outdoor furniture should be replaced. Very dirty. Adequately equipped kitchen. WiFi outage caused us to have to use another’s WiFi service & housekeeping couldn’t help. Some housekeeping for a 5-day stay should be provided, even if just towel service.

With the pandemic behind us, we finally were able to book our anniversary trip! Upon arriving to Pono Kai, we were greeted warmly by the front desk. Check in was easy. Had problems with our keys on several occasions. Front desk took care of it. Had a memorable time! Thank you to all!
