This unit comes complete with beach chairs, towels, an umbrella, and a small cooler for your guests' enjoyment. It needed updated, the washing machine and dryer didn't work properly, (Was rusted and dryer only worked on high) and the road that faced the condo had traffic going by continually so we couldn't use the Lina. TV was hard to use as noisy. I tried to go ahold of the property office as one of the cupboard doors would't close so we had put tape on to close. Wasn't well stocked we had to buy essential things needed.. We have had success in renting for yrs and we would not use the Property outfit again. Disappointed with condo and Property people. They're office is in Hilo... hr away. When did get ahold of them it said Hilo

We should have been notified the pool would be closed for most of our visit. We expected it to be available and it was unfair to pay for a complex with a pool and not get one. Unit was OK, definitely needs modernization.

Pros-Close to DT Kona and Coconut Grove/kitchen is well equipped/pool is nice/good parking/managers are responsive and will fix immediate problems.
Cons-Bedroom and living area are is dark-overhead lighting and fan needed/mattresses are uncomfortable/refrigerator leaks-signs of rust/washing machine is rusted through/lots of traffic noise-even with A/C on. There is no storage drawers or shelves for your stuff-the place is filled with the owner's belongings. Heavy Fibreez odor on arrival. Walls dirty and old nails/hangers-needs painting/loose chair leg on one chair needs tightening/remote control for rear gate does not work.
CAUTION: The walkway out front has no height transition from concrete to tiles-significant tripping hazard!!

Location was perfect!! Might want to get new towels, the ones there are white and you can see the stains on them. I think they might be doing renovations because some of the cabinets looked new. They might want to leave an air freshener so it won’t smell bad. I also thought it was a 2 room condo. That might have been on me, but I thought it was a 2 bedroom condo.

We have stayed at Kona Pacific many times and enjoyed it. This condo needs updating for sure. The carpet is ancient, the bathtub drains plugged up, molding needs to be tightened up to keep roaches in their place. It needs a new fridge so the ice cube machine and water filter work and it needs a new washer so nobody gets cut on the rusting water spout. They need an AC that actually cools the air in the living room. The property manager was totally great about our problems and helped when she could. That said, the one big problem with this condo is that it has a busy highway about 20 feet from the lanai which made that usually wonderful space totally un-usable due to noise.

Plumbing in master bathtub does not work. Sink faucet hard to use for elderly woman. Needs to be replaced as other bathroom. Ice msker not working in fridge. Condo was satisfactory. view was beautiful. Not suitable for older person. Need walkin shower.

Having never been to Kona before, we took a chance on a condo found on line. Kona Pacific, unit E633, turned out to be an excellent decision. It was close to the downtown area where we had a wide range of eating, shopping, and entertainment choices, all within easy walking distances.The condo itself was very well stocked and clean, which made for an easy adjustment after 13 hours of travel. Compared to other options it was a great value and made a positive impression on my wife and I for our 2 week stay.
