We stayed in this condo for our honeymoon. The community itself and the views from the condo were excellent. it was a quiet, private unit and community. Check in was very easy. The decor of the unit was just fine. The problem lies within the cleanliness of this condo. To name a few extremely disappointing issues- the shower liner AND curtain was moldy, most of the bathroom towels (hand and body) had stains & the bed pillow cases were either permanently stained or hadnt been washed when we arrived, which caused cringes when laying down after a long day of travel. The mattress on the bed needs to be updated, there is a huge depression in the middle. The dishes were all dirty, splattered with food, so we had to wash our own before use and the kitchen cabinets had gunk caked on them. The biggest gripe was after booking a 5 night stay, there was only ONE roll of toilet paper, which we didnt notice until it was too late. Very disappointing for a Honey Moon stay.

This bridge unit was perfect. Easy entrance across pedestrian bridge to front door means no steps for adults and kids on this sloping project site. Close to pool/BBQ and steps to beach and boardwalk. Unit views are to die for -- watch surfers, whales, sail boats and crashing waves. In contrast to other units that are dark and feel a bid dingy, this Unit is light, airy, spacious, very comfortable and one level. Management was efficient, returned calls promptly and were very nice and .helpful. Will stay here again.

Nice location, excellent views, parking was convenient. The condo needs upgrading and some safety considerations. For instance, kitchen ceiling fan doesn't work and drops oil onto floor, sliding glass doors require major force to open, many outlets are too loose to hold any adapter, knives in the kitchen were all very dull, the bedroom clock didn't change time and had the first generation iPhone adapter (which tells you how old it is). Regarding safety, the bath tub, where the shower is also, is very deep and the step up and down are very slippery and unsafe. We almost fell multiple times while trying to simply get into the tub area to take a shower. If the owner doesn't want to upgrade that area, at least put a bar so a user can have some support while entering the tub. We stayed in Wailea during the second half of our trip at a lower priced condo and had so complaints about the unit.

We were disappointed in the quality of this unit. We have been going to Kapalua Bay Villas for over 15 years and this was our first trip staying for two weeks. The flooring in the condo was updated not that long ago which is great until you see that only some of the trim work was reinstalled. Many of the electrical outlets either did not work at all or sparked when you plugged something into them, scary. The website stated there was an ice maker, there was not. The drop kitchen ceiling was filled with bugs. Some of the paint was peeling off the walls. Several ceiling can light bulbs were missing or burnt out. After the first night we discovered the toilet was leaking. Obviously, the toilet was very old and the white tile surrounding the toilet was yellow.. The plumber arrived late in the day to fix the problem however had to wait over an hour for the management company to authorize a repair. The next day the toilet began to leak again. Once again a plumber came out to the property however this time with a new toilet. The first two days of our vacation we spent cleaning up toilet water with the bath towels and having to do the laundry. At least the public toilet at the pool was available for use. The views are great and the location is ideal for us. The pools were excellent and the activities at Kapalua fit couples and families. My advice to the owner would be to fix the electrical outlets, paint and remodel the kitchen and bath.

We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful condo with great views of the beach. It was a great size for my family of four and was very well decorated and felt cozy and comfortable. The only issue we had was with the dryer in the unit. We we’re provided 4 bath towels and a few days in I washed a load of clothes then towels only to discover the dryer wouldn’t dry. We tried several cycles then noticed the lent collector was clogged with sand from previous use. I called the property management company and left a message. I never heard back and had to call again the next day to follow up. They told me they wouldn’t be able to get anyone over there to fix the dryer until the following day which was our last day. I asked that because of this that they provide us with more clean towels as ours had been sitting wet in the dryer for two days. They said they would not be able to do that, either. The maintenance man came the following day and fixed it. Or so I assume… i couldn’t chance testing it to see if it dried or not because I had to fly out the next day and didn’t want to travel with a suitcase full of wet clothes if it didn’t work. While the property was amazing, I was displeased with the property management’s lack of service. I hope they notified the next tenant of the dryer issue so they don’t face the same situation.
